It didn't escape Rude's notice that a total stranger was suddenly calling him by name... but he decided that was a mystery best left for later. He resisted Kamen's grip and supplied her with some cover fire.
Reno gasped for air as Kamen's grip on him tightened. He looked at Nikky, also struggling to free herself. If he kills her... it won't matter if I survive or not. If she dies... I'm dead too. "Rude, hold it! He's killing her!"
Rude ceased fire-- he always acted first and asked questions later. "What does the one have to do with the other?"
"The harder we fight, the more he squeezes! Hold fire!"
"We can't surrender or he'll kill her anyway--"
"Give me more time!"

Ami fired and fired and fired... and when the needle bullets ran out, she swung, smashed and crashed. Blood and acid were flying everywhere. One of the creeps nailed her across the bridge of her nose-- "ACK!" She aimed a shot into his ear. "D**n psychopath!"
She struggled to think. Brute force isn't getting me anywhere... what would Kadaj be doing if he were here? He'd say Kamen had to go down... he's controlling all the others... and if we all rushed him at once, he couldn't hold ALL of us back!
She threw back the mob and charged. "Sunset, at my back!"

kamen lessened the constricting grip. he grinned ccoldly. ''i see you are brighter than you look....'' he looked directly at him.
nikky gasped and broke free. ''NO!!'' ><!! she tackled him and tried punching and kicking. '' i will not have my fate bestowed apon them kamen!!'' she was blasted back minutes after and suspended in air.
''and i cannot have a loose cannon on the battle field.''
the goonies now blocked ami's way, they stood more firm now. they became harder to kill.

Gdosimirj realized exactly what Amnesty had in mind. She didn't think it was the best idea... but there was no alternative. She fired down a path in the goons in front of her and ran over the bodies to Amnesty, leaping and firing all the way.
She joined with Amnesty and fired at the goons blocking Kamen, muttering under her breath. "Your insanity is either contradictive to or the reason why you've managed to live this long!"

nikky yelled and fought. ''you cannot kill the master of puppets!!'' >< ''not with physical wounds!!! you have to cut off his-'' but she was cut off as his grip tightened on her. she cried out and gasped for air.
kamen only took the shots, seemingly unharmed.... but he was bleeding. the blood formed pools, which forming into monsterous creatures. they attacked ami and sunset.

Gdosimirj yelled over the gunfire. "That was helpful! We have to cut off his..." A wicked grin formed on her face. "Oh, I hope she was about to say 'manhood'!"
She cast a quick and relatively weak shield around herself and Amnesty. "Quick, we need to figure something out before this gives out!" Everything outside of the shield slowed slightly.

the goonies still tried to fight... obviously not the big bang. kamen had something under his sleeve... and only nikky knew it.
she chewed on her lip painfrully. she could barely breath.
kamen formed his own shield. he seemed to be waiting.

Ami shrugged at her battling companion. "Eh... Insanity, brilliance, call it what you want."
Ami watched the monsters rise. "Oh, mother pusbucket," she groaned. "And me without a Teardrop to my name..."
Ami's brain was on overdrive. "I'm pulling a blank..." Her grip around her necklace tightened. "Unless... Sunset, you remember that thing VI did? 'Course ya do. Do that... if you can... I need my brothers!"

Reno screamed with rage. "We're not moving!!! We're humans, not stress balls!!! LET HER BREATHE!!!"

nikky fought for breath but eventually fell limp.
kamen chuckled at him and sent more after ami and sunset.
reno and rude dropped hard on the ground. goonies attacked them emmidiatly.

The monsters slammed on the shield, bringing their effectiveness quickly to an end. "'That thing?' What thing?" She needed an answer more quickly than it would take Ami to explain it. She grabbed Ami's arm quickly and got an image.
Sephiroth's flaming avatar.
"You can't mean... There's just one problem with that. I need an element to draw from!" The shield broke and the horrific monsters came crashing in. Gdosimirj screamed and fired, looking about wildly. Her eyes lit on the electronic ram. "I must be completely nuts," she whispered to herself.
"RUDE! I NEED YOU TO SHOOT ME, NOW!"

the monsters all attacked them in a wave.
kamen seemed to grow impatient. the goonies surrounding him.

Rude didn't dare hesitate-- Act first and speak later, as always.
He fired without even thinking about what the h**l the girl had on her mind-- being surrounded by goonies tends to rush a person somewhat.
Reno picked himself up and began fighting like a madman. "NIKKY!" He cleared a path through the subordinates surrounding him towards her, trying not to think of what he might find when he got to her. Just get there... Don't think, just fight... If you think about it, you'll never make it.
Ami threw punches left and right, blood starting to get into her eyes from the wound on her face. She barely had a second to wipe the liquid away as more goons came flooding towards her... "Sunset! Hurry!"

Gdosimirj shut her eyes tight, waiting for the blast. I hope this works...
She screamed and put her hand up to block herself as the beam of pure electricity hit her, causing an explosion. "KADAJ!!!"
The electricity slowly zapped up her arm, consuming her body, creating a shell of pure electricity... in the very image of Kadaj. Just as he opened his eyes, a thunder clap sounded.
He didn't hesitate to jump into battle, his two bladed sword making crackling tracks in any goon that got in his way.

nikky was dropped also, she lay still. her body was limp and in an uncomfy position.
kamen slipped away... leaving. the goonies attacked all of them. but they seemed to leaqve reno alone.

Kadaj sliced through the crowd, practicing his acrobatics on the goons. "Good to be back in a body again..." He slashed backwards as one of them got close enough to touch his back. "A little rusty, though." He noticed as Kamen started to slip away. He leapt over the next goon and ran towards him, sword first, speaking in a poisonous tone. "Nobody... touches... my... sister."

kamen disappeared in a cloud of dust. when it cleared he was gone.... leaving a bunch of goonies to attack him.
nikky was passed out.... but her temp was cold and her breathing forced.
