"Referring, of course, to our little tussle with Sin," Ami replied breezily. She finished cleaning out Sin's wounds and started to bind them. "Sooner or later, we have to figure out what to do about the hand he lost. Maybe get him a cybernetic replacement. I've heard of a young roboticist-- this girl, named Shelke? Back on Wutai, where you guys found me, as I hear. Very good with mechanical body parts." She paused to get the kinks out of her back. "So, what do you think of my new threads?" She grinned up at Kidd. She barely even noticed Sin's murmuring over her chatter.

Kidd stared at Sin then just decided to tell when everyone was listning. "Hmm... a true buisnesswoman!" Kidd gave a thumbs up. "So does that mean head back to Wutai? Mybe I can find some new toys to play with.... NO!!! I mean wepons!!!" Kidd smacked himself in the head. Curse my sexual mind...

Ami tilted her head, nonplussed. "Yeahhh... whatever."
She gently placed the ice pack on Sin's head. "Let's put him in a bed or something. He might as well wake up comfortable. And forget Wutai for now... I've got to get to my brothers first. The ante has just gone up. With Sephiroth on the loose yet again, we'll need their help. Who knows? Reno was with them. He might be able to fix Vincent in no time. The only problem is, I'm not sure exactly where they are right now."

Kidd helped move Sin to a bed then sat thinking. "Hmmm... what about Midgar? They could be leading normal lives for all we know."

Ami almost laughed out loud. "Nah. Normal lives are one thing they would never consent to having." She thought for a moment. "Last I heard, though, they were headed for the Midgar swamps. Maybe we CAN find them in the city, or at least somewhere nearby. And we can ask Cloud for help if all else fails."

Kidd walked out in a casual fashion the dashed back in only his head visible through the door frame. "WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did you do now!?! Who did you murder... wait... you blew up a building huh?"

"Yeah," Ami nodded. "And you helped me, remember? Which means you're kind of wanted, too. As is everyone who will decide to help me out." She shrugged. "I would have told you sooner, but before now I thought you were dead. Honestly."

Sin groaned and tried to get up. "Where am I? I remember waiting for a chance to strike Sephiroth..... I was in the air..... Vincent hit me..... Then blank..... " He struggled and managed to fall out of bed, and struggled to get up full. "Oh god..... I feel like s**t....."

"Stay right HERE!" Kidd pointed directky to the spot she was standing at. He set the course for Midgar and went back. Kidd sat down in a chair with a pencil and notebook. "Explain please."

Ami sighed. "Remember a ways back, when we all destroyed that Shinra building? Apparently, that's illegal. We've been on the run for that ever since, and perpetually interrupted by the need to save the planet. It doesn't help that we trashed a couple other buildings or two along the way, especially in Junon." She looked around. "Kidd, any idea where Samson went? I want to make sure he doesn't mind us messing with his ship."
She noticed Sin waking. "Hey, boyo... how's your head?"

Samson walked into the room,
"Oh! I see you all know how to work an airship not owned by you! christ the least you can do is hollar on the mic for Abel to drive it instead of a some kid!...named Kidd...."
he pulls out a small flask and slams down a few swigs of rum then puts it back in this jacket pocket.
Samson: "What in blazes is going on anyway!?

Ami rushed to face him in a hurry, realizing an angry Samson was not a Samson she wanted to be familiar with. "Samson... I'm sorry, I... that is, we... we were desperate. We had to get away, I..."
She stopped and calmed herself down before trying to start over again. "Samson, I'm sorry. I just didn't see any other way. Vincent was almost dead. Sephiroth was chasing us..." She tailed off again. "We never did tell you about him, did we?" She realized the look in his eyes carried the blankness of unrecognition. "Samson, it's me, it's Ami. I know this new look isn't as... effeminate as you're used to. But somehow... it was the only one that felt right, after today."
