"I was about to vocalize that point... glad you're smart enough to have beaten me to it." G**, I'm bored...
"I'm bored as h**l," he yawned. "This is the part I always hated about hostages." He sighed. "Oh, well..." He got into his pocket and pulled out some dice. He started tossing them absent-mindedly, just to see how many times a certain number would come up. He looked sidelong at Nikky... and a slightly disturbing and thoroughly amusing idea came to him. "I've noticed you two are gamblers... Feel like a game?"

she laughed slightly. ''i'm a lot quicker than i look....''
she laughed ever so slightly in mild amusement at his comment. ''a game.... hmmm... well. what are we pplaying for??'' she looked over and smirked slightly. this should be fun...

"Depends on who wins," he smirked. "You win, I have to give you something... anything but your freedom. That's the only thing that's off-limits, and I do mean the only thing. I win, same terms. You have to give me something... anything I ask you for... except freedom." He couldn't hold back the slight melancholy that tipped out onto that last phrase, but he covered it quickly. "Here's the rules. We each get five rolls. Whoever gets a certain number the most times is the winner. How about it?"

nikky thought it over before nodded slowly. ''....alright.'' she looked back and grinned. ''just as long as we keep the prizes reasonable.'' she raised a brow. ''there are a few things i would rather not do....'' she left his mind to its imagination with a smirk. ''you up for that add-on??''

"That add-on sounds fine... I think the prize I have in mind is perfectly reasonable," he agreed with a sly smile. This ought to be good... "Seven's my number." He tossed the dice... it came up five. "Your turn."

she decided not to question him and just win so she never would find out. ''kay... i'll stick with 9.'' she took the dice and rolled a 8. she handed the dice back, avoiding making contact with his hand. she would be nice... but that didn't mean friendly.

Axel noticed her flinching away as she dropped the dice in his hand. Hmm... you may not think my prize is so acceptable after all...
He rolled again. It came up seven, and a grin crossed his face. "Looks like luck is with me tonight." He left the dice where they were and let Nikky get them herself... Avoid the awkwardness until just the right moment...

she sighed slightly at his win and moved to take the dice. she thought of ways to cheat and ignored him for a few seconds.

He tapped his foot impatiently. "I'm waiting..." Looks like she wants to cheat me. Fine... just as long as I get to cheat, too.

she shot him a nasty glare before tossing the dice. 9. she seemed to smile as she calculated something in her head. she held out the dice in her hand for him, not even thinking.

He took the dice away, purposely taking his time about it, just to make her cringe a little. Not like I can actually touch you... my hands are gloved, girl.
He smirked to himself and threw again, concentrating on the dice, making them stop just as they showed up seven. If I can control these spears, winning this dice game should be a piece of cake. Looks like I'll be getting that prize after all... I might not have cheated if you hadn't, girlie. I'm gonna teach you to be honest.

she watched him instead of the dice. she hid her cringe well... probably because she didn't.
she glared faintly and looked down at the dice. she sighed and picked the dice up. she watched it roll in her hands before she rolled her eyes and tossed it. i'm going to loose anyway... its pointless to try... she looked over. 9. [/i] hmm... guess i should stick to being bored...[/i]

Another "lucky" roll. She may just give me a run for my money...
He rolled again, not bothering with any smart comments or sharp nonverbal cues. The competition was getting to him, if it could be called that. Another seven.
He tossed the dice back over to her and waited, getting a little agitated.

she took the dice and let them drop off her hand. 4. she frowned and sighed. ''...you win.'' she looked over and directly at him. her curiosity made her wonder what he wanted out of this.

He blinked. "The score is three to two with one more roll... you might just tie it if you got the next one... But if you want to forfeit, that's fine with me." He put the dice away. "Just wanted to be fair," he remarked sarcastically. She never could have beaten me.
"I only want one thing from you, and after that I won't ask for anything else... at least, not until the Transfer is over." Suddenly he found himself getting unnerved... What for? It's not like this is such a big deal... "Can you guess what I want?"
