I'm going on holiday, tomorrow. For about 8 days. So don't start anything in the rp that relies on any of my charecters, or you'll have to wait a week to finish it.

Ya wanna rundown of last week's action? OK, here's the skinny:
Lutz and Kidd Strife both ordered drinks at Seventh Heaven.
Squall went to the Mt. Nibel caves and was set upon by many nasty monsters. Amnesty Lazuli, a mysterious motorcycle chick, appeared near Mt. Nibel on her way to catch a flight to Midgar. She tried to help Squall fight a Bomb and nearly got herself fried. Squall got her out of there with her skin intact, and in gratitude she offered to give him a lift out of the area. He accepted. They pulled over a few minutes later to get thier bearings, as Amnesty had failed to mention earlier that she was hopelessly lost when she ran into Squall. He noticed a wound on his leg right before a wolf creature called Raja leaped out of the woods, demanding to know Lutz's whereabouts. He started plumbing Squall's mind, and Amnesty started instinctively plugging acid bullets into the creature's hide. He escaped the scene, and Squall cured himself of his injury using stolen monster energy. He offered (with some reservations) to take Amnesty to Midgar aboard his ship, the Ragnorak. As the pair rode off to find the ship, Raja appeared in the trees, still following them. Amnesty, using a strange sort of ESP, sensed Raja behind them and hurried to the ship. Squall asked her to slow down as he looked for the ship a few miles outside Nibelheim. They boarded the Ragnorak and took off, barely ahead of Raja. Squall prepared the ship for takeoff and noticed Amnesty looked a bit out of it. In truth, she had fallen into a trance in which she conversed with one of her dead brothers. When she woke, she confided in Squall, telling him why she went to Nibelheim-- she went there to try finding answers about herself and her brothers. As she put it, they were always... different, and her three closest kin ran away to find out why. Upon further pressing from Squall, she confessed her brothers' identities: Kedaj, Yazoo, and Loz. She wants to track down those responsible for their deaths, Jenova first and foremost. It seems the Calamity has a psychic connection with her "children" which she uses to harass them into her will, and Amnesty would sooner die than live with this legacy. Squall, a native of another world, was not perfectly clear on what "Jenova" is. He asked for clarification, but before he could get it, he saw the Ragnorak was being pursued by Bahamut per Raja's orders. He sent the aircraft into a dive to try evading the dragon. Raja continued the chase on the dragon's back, determined to wish upon Squall "seven deadly sins". Amnesty tried to make sense out of Raja's intentions via her ESP abilities, but was instead confounded by Jenova's constant nagging. Panicked, she asked Squall where the ship's weaponry was located.
This post is absurdly long, so you may delete it after you read it to free up space. You should now be up to date.

Immediately after aiding in Jenova's defeat, Squall was forced to fight the Sin of Lust, Amadeus. He used his love for Ami against the Sin and destroyed it.
Rude recieved a call from the mysterious Info Central, informing him of a catastrophic event in Junon. He and Reno asked Squall for a ride there aboard the Ragnorak. Squall not only agreed to help them get there, he also volunteered to help discover the reason behind the strange tidal waves terrorizing Junon Beach.
During the trip, Ami decided to grab some winks. In an Eternal Sunshine-esque moment, she dreamed of a memory from her past, through which her brother gave a warning... their new enemy was Leviathan, the Sin of Envy, a creature that would seek to use Ami's curiosity about Squall's past love, Rinoa, against her.
Ami shared this information with Rude, who in turn spoke to Lutz about weaponizing the design for the splicer he found in the Mythril Mines. His idea was to remove the Chaos cells from the Sins, effectively stealing their power, by using the design as a sort of "genetic segregation gun". He got the schematics and effectively redesigned them, prepared to construct the device as soon as he could find the parts in Junon.
Meanwhile, Reno and Nikky started playing cards to pass the time. They BS'ed back and forth, flirting relentlessly the entire time. But as they continued conversing, Reno realized something strange was happening... he was actually connecting with Nikky. Unsure of how to handle this new experience, he slipped into awkwardness. Nikky reciprocated the feeling, but continued to act aloof, obviously hiding something.
The trip took a bit longer than expected. Ami began wondering about the parents she left behind in her quest, and the tension between Reno and Nikky built... finally culminating in a spontaneous kiss...
Which Rude interrupted, embarrassing both Reno and Nikky profoundly. He backed off and gave the two some space, in which Nikky confessed the reason behind her hesitation in accepting Reno's advances... she is being pursued by a supernatural hoodlum called Kamen (AKA the Puppetmaster).
The ship landed, mercifully, in Junon, allowing Rude and Lutz to escape before the pheromones could suffocate them both. The crowd made their way to the military surplus shop and began constructing the segregation gun, which Rude named "The Sacrifice".
Lutz slipped away from the others and went to the beach alone to face Leviathan. In the midst of a catnap, Ami found herself in another dream, this time with Kadaj telling her to quickly go to the beach and help her ally.
Rude, still working on the Sacrifice, sent Reno along to aid Ami and Squall in battle. Leviathan launched a fierce mental attack, one which nearly incapacitated Ami and sent Reno and Squall at each other's throats.
Ami knocked Reno out to return Squall's focus to their mission. Leviathan attacked Squall by trying to squeeze the life out of him with his tail, which naturally turned Ami rabid. Reno, his mind filled with Leviathan's illusions, regained consciousness, thinking he'd been having nightmares about the family that gave him up as a child. But he quickly realized the truth and joined Ami in a joint attack on Leviathan, who released Squall. The creature turned his attention to Ami, feeding her curiosity about Rinoa and transforming it into jealousy...
Reno tackled Ami out of the way as Rude arrived to blast Leviathan with the completed Sacrifice.
The weapon successfully removed the Chaos cells from Leviathan, changing him back into a human... who was immediately therafter killed by another Sin, Beelzebub the Gluttony, to prevent him from siding with Ami and the others.
Ami, absolutely shell-shocked by the day's events, went to Squall for comfort as Reno offered to take Nikky out for dinner... after a short stop somewhere. Rude returned to the ship to find out why the Sacrifice had leaked its Chaos cells from the matter containment unit into Lutz.
Reno's pre-date stop was one he'd been both avoiding and anticipating for many years... he was going to drop in on his parents, who apparently live in a Lower Junon suburb. After a few awkward moments, his mother broke down and begged to be forgiven for sending him away to become a "Shinra brat". Reno confessed he'd forgiven her long ago, unable to move on otherwise.
In an effort to forget this dramatic scene, he and Nikky went to the Pier Club and got somewhat drunk. A lounge singer there recognized Reno from her childhood... and overheard Kamen, Nikky's stalker, preparing to ambush him. She managed to sneak him and Nikky out the back, just in time, but Kamen followed Nikky, tracking her by use of dark magic.
Back at the beach, one of Jenova's former sorceresses, Gdosimirj Sunset, tracked down Ami and asked for help in freeing herself from Jenova's curse. Though apprehensive, Ami agreed to aid her in any way possible.
Reno and Nikky arrived back at the Ragnorak just barely ahead of Kamen. Rude called Ami and company back from the beach for backup as Kamen appeared with his many goons.
When Ami arrived, a few moments of banter briefly pre-empted an unapologetic free-for-all between the heroes and Kamen's baddies. Nikky was nearly suffocated by Kamen's telekinetic powers, but Sunset turned the tide of battle by using her powers to summon the spirit of Kadaj, who sent Kamen to flight. Ami used the brief amount of time she had to speak with her brother to work out a more stable method of contacting him-- summon materia. Unfortunately, the strength required to be an avatar proved too great for Sunset, and when Kadaj returned to the Lifestream, Sunset lost some of her memories and fell unconscious.
Sometime at the beginning of this brawl, Squall disappeared. Ami began to worry, but several events delayed her from setting out to search for him.
Reno, in a panic, left the scene with the unconscious Nikky. In a rare moment of self-reflection, he realized his life hadn't meant much up to that point... and he wouldn't recover if Nikky died. Several minutes later, Rude managed to find him and help him pull himself together. With the help of Mishy, a masochistic limo driver, they returned to the Ragnorak.
Ami and Rude left Reno to guard Nikky and Sunset as they went into Junon to buy more weapons in preparation for Kamen's return. Rude questioned Ami about Sunset, but she gave away as little information as possible, referencing vaguely Sunset's desire to consult with him concerning the whereabouts of former Jenova Project scientists.
Sunset awoke in one of the Ragnorak's cabins, absolutely clueless as to how she got there. She found Reno and began threatening him, thinking he had come to drag her back to Shinra headquarters. He thought at first she was joking, but soon learned she was dead serious.
Ami, her new short swords in hand, arrived to interrupt the two. At first, she thought Sunset was attempting to betray her, but a bit of fortuitous intervention from Reno prevented Ami from decapitating the amnesiac priestess. In the midst of this standoff, Nikky finally revived, and Reno was... ahem... very enthusiastic about confessing the depth of his feelings for her. (Here began a new running joke... whenever Reno and Nikky start making out, someone invariably interrupts them before things go too far.) It took a few moments of confusion, but finally everybody got explained to each other... and just in time, because just as this debacle resolved itself, Kamen sent a messenger to the Ragnorak.
The messenger had a question for Nikky: Did she want Kamen to kill all her friends, or did she want to do it for him?
Ami suddenly understood... Nikky was one of Kamen's puppets. Sympathizing with the hopelessness of being forced to obey another's will, Ami stood with Reno in promising to protect Nikky from Kamen's power.
The messenger took the group's answer back: "Let him come, and when he does, he'll have to get through all of us to hurt Nikky."
While they waited for a second attack, Kidd arrived on the scene once again, bringing the rare silver materia Ami needed to complete the summon for her brothers... and introducing an old friend, Kamryn, to the group.
Once again, Kamen and his goons nearly overran the heroes... and once again, Ami called on supernatural help. She performed the summon, and her three brothers might have wiped Kamen out in their zeal to protect her... but Kamen linked himself to Nikky, transferring all his pain and injury to her.
Kamen escaped once more by using Nikky as a shield this way, but the summon did not end (on the principle that enough damage had not yet been inflicted). Kadaj conferred with his siblings and all agreed they should take shelter at Fort Condor as they prepared to fight back against Kamen once again. Only the Upper Fort remained intact... they discovered the Lower to have been ravaged and later abandoned by the Sin of Anger and his demonic allies.
Upon arrival at the Upper Fort, Nikky confessed the truth of her past to Reno... she once killed a friend and went to Kamen for help. He took over her will, forcing her to commit crimes for him. Reno, sympathetic to the idea of being ordered to kill, accepted her tale and confirmed his continued affections for her. He also promised he would never go back to work for Rufus Shinra again, claiming Rufus was an evil a** and the money was s**t. Meanwhile, Rude attempted to contact Info Central for more background on Kamen... but his cell number refused to work. This could only mean one thing... Rufus had realized they now allied themselves with Ami and her family, and now every agent still under his control would be on the lookout for them.
Ami and Kadaj left the fort to find food for the others and discussed a few issues they had glossed over in the past, particularly Ami's concern over Squall's disappearance. They arrived at the ruins of the town, also torn apart by the Sin. It took a great deal of hunting, but Ami finally recovered some cereal in a crumbling basement... as Kadaj recieved a psychic flash from his other two siblings... a thick fog lay over the Fort, an unnatural freak of weather induced by Kamen's magic.
He and Ami returned quickly as the blinding fog descended. The brothers used their extra-senses to reunite the group as Kamen slipped through the darkness, hunting Nikky.
Yazoo's shadowcreepers found and ambushed Kamen, and Kadaj approached the Puppetmaster with a deal: he would fight him alone on even ground (no allies or powers to help) to win Nikky's freedom. In exchange, Reno volunteered himself to become a new puppet for Kamen if Kadaj lost, despite the protests of Ami and Rude.
In the midst of the duel, Kadaj sensed that Kamen was much more like him than he'd guessed... Kamen, too, was under the control of another who had abandoned him to his fate in this battle. More to confuse him than for any other reason, Kadaj told Kamen he still had time to rebel and redeem himself.
Kamen let these words sink in, and the fight was over quickly after with Kadaj the clear winner. Nikky's bond to Kamen was broken, and Kamen left the fort to confront his demons on his own. Ami sensed this would not be the last they heard from him...
The summon ended with the defeat of the enemy, and the boys returned to the Lifestream. Rude informed Ami of Shinra's new vendetta against them all, and she promptly insisted they get to her hometown, an obscure village seven hours south of Midgar, to ensure Rufus would not attempt to use her family as leverage against her.
They salvaged a vehicle and a few other supplies from the ruined Lower Fort to get them there. Ami stopped at Junon on the way to see if Squall had returned to the Ragnorak, and to her agitation, found him to still be absent.
They made it to the old village, but not quickly enough... in fact, they were just behind Tseng and Elena, already dispatched to kidnap Ami's family. Rude and Reno took out Elena fairly quickly and were about to complete the rescue when Tseng interrupted them. It was a close battle, but Tseng finally secured Ami's family and narrowly escaped, taking them back to the hidden new Shinra headquarters. He reported Rude and Reno's actions, which further cemented Rufus' resolve to repay them in kind.
Ami brought the others into her home and began formulating a plan to find the mysterious new headquarters and retrieve her loved ones-- by allowing Tseng to catch her. Rude staunchly opposed this idea as reckless and poorly concieved, but Ami refused to back down and the two got into a (relatively) heated argument.
Nikky felt the pang of a mental Tap, and wandered outside to discover Kamen on the front lawn, broken and bleeding, left this way by an encounter with his former master. The group brought him inside and Ami fetched a physician, despite Reno's serious misgivings.
The doctor managed to patch the former Puppeteer back together, but the boy fell unconscious during the process and began a mental battle with the master that still pursued him... the one he had come to warn Nikky and the others about.
Ami's reduced ESP, still sensitive enough to pick up on his distress, called her to try helping him, but she was cut short as Tseng broke into the house with several squads of Shinra soldiers to back him up. Sticking to her plan of voluntary capture, she fought ferociously enough to fool Tseng, but badly enough to be caught. Only after, semi-conscious and bound inside a Shinra chopper, did she realize this tactic was a grave mistake... a repeat of her brothers' prideful err in judgement.
Fortunately, she did manage to do one thing right... earlier, she had "borrowed" a tracking device from Rude, which showed him and the others which way the helicopted was heading... towards the new Shinra headquarters, hidden in Upper Junun's industrial district.
Reno, Rude, and Nikky quickly donned some disguises, the first two finally ditching their Shinra uniforms and Nikky taking on a black pantsuit at Rude's request (he claimed this would aid in a distraction later). Kidd joined in on the caper, leaving Kamryn and Sunset to guard the still-comatose Kamen. Sunset began conversing with the unwell sorceror, who was still weak and in pain from the battles with his master.
After several hours of driving, Reno, Rude, and the others arrived back in Junon, in time to see Ami be unloaded into the building but not in time to intercept her. Instead, Rude revealed his plan to infiltrate the building...
Nikky, dressed as a Turk in that pantsuit, entered the building lobby with Rude's invalid ID and presented it to the receptionist at the front desk. When security came in to see what the problem was with her ID, Rude detonated a car bomb he rigged out of the van, sending another sizeable portion of security out of the building. Between these two disturbances, most of the security forces were diverted from the top floor, where Rufus' office was located and where Ami was being held. This gave Reno and Rude ample opportunity to bust into the building from the top of the parking complex, using Ami's cycle to cross from roof to roof.
Kidd, after Reno and Rude made it inside, joined Nikky in fighting off the onslaught of guards that flooded in to arrest her. But he was taken by surprise as an enormous cyborg stormed through, carrying an unconscious familiar figure fresh from the Midgar interrogation facility... Squall!
Reno and Rude, busy securing the top floor, unsuccessfully attempted to follow the cyborg to Rufus. After conking Rude out, the malevolent robot entered the office and dumped Squall at Ami's feet. Dizzy and barely coherent, Squall asked what was happening... to which Ami replied they were together again and nothing else mattered. Remembering that, ironically, it was her birthday today, Ami sarcastically thanked Rufus for returning Squall to her, claiming this was "the best birthday present I ever got".
Meanwhile, the cyborg (designated T-13) went back out to block anyone else from entering the office. Reno and Kidd joined forces to try besting him...
Rufus signaled his guards to seperate Ami and Squall, injecting Squall with a sedative to keep him conveniently out of the way. He then went on to discuss with Ami the reason why he'd caught her, she a hair's breadth away from killing him every moment with only fear for Rufus' hostages holding her back. Apparently, he believed Ami's peculiar genome, seperated from Jenova's cells, might be enough to fill in the data required for successful completion of the Jenova Project. He attempted to persuade her at first by claiming the potential medical benefits of the study, but the mutual loathing between the two was too great to be bridged by such petty, invalid arguments. Ami defied him, and he in response ordered Tseng to kill one member of her family every minute. Desperate and enraged, she finally gave in, claiming she would do anything if he called off Tseng. But she had one last trick up her sleeve... it was only a matter of timing it properly...
Rufus, smug and certain of victory, told Ami he wanted to be sure she was the right girl by looking for a scar on her back. The catch? For him to be able to see it, Ami would have to remove her shirt.
Cringing, Ami turned around and lifted the back of her shirt enough to reveal a wing-shaped grey scar left by improper initial treatment of her Geostigma infection. She decided at this moment enough was too much, and shattered the window she was facing as she once again performed the Triple Threat summon. A guard had a gun trained on Squall's head, and she launched herself backwards against him, barely in the nick of time to keep Squall from being killed. She tried to pull him to safety...
Rufus drew his mini-rifle and shot Squall in the leg, forcing Ami to slow down. Rufus forced her against the wall and had the muzzle of the gun at her neck...
As Ami's three brothers launched themselves into the room through the broken window, motorcycles and all. Absolutely maddened by the scene before him, Kadaj grabbed the diabolical president and began to beat the living c**p out of him. After forcing him to call off Tseng, thereby saving Ami's adopted family, he shoved Rufus to the ground before his sister and ordered him to do one thing, fully intending to kill him immediately after:
"On your knees. I want to to beg for her forgiveness."
This, however, did not end as planned. Rufus' Turks blasted a hole in the floor, providing him with a narrow... nay, miraculous escape. Kadaj followed them as they evacuated, leaving Yazoo to find out exactly where Ami's family was being held captive and Loz to help Reno and Rude beat back a new wave of attacking Turks and security guards. Ami moved to follow Kadaj, but realizing how closely she had come to entering the darkness, he ordered her to stay and tend to Squall.
Kadaj found Rufus and his entourage in an emergency garage where a shuttle was waiting to spirit Rufus away. He shot at and cracked the fuel cells so they would leave a chemical trail to follow later, and doubled back to rejoin the others, evading the five SOLDIERS guarding Rufus (he briefly engaged them, but despite the fact that he is technically immortal, that does not make him invincible... and YOU try fighting five Cloud Strifes sometime!).
Meanwhile, Ami and Yazoo found their family cowering in a holding cell. After a few touching (but not sappy) moments of explanation, they began to lead the way to the helicopter that had brought Ami there.
Ami began settling her parents, sister, and Squall into the copter as her three siblings returned to extricate Reno and Rude from the building (as they are the only ones in the group who can fly the chopper). They found the two facing off against Tseng and Elena, along with Kidd and Loz who were dispatching the bulk of the security guards...
****
And there you have it.
