The soft sound of clapping echoed through the church. Vieve rose from the shadows where she had been sitting, a huge grin just visible under her cloak.
"That was fun! Do it again."
She skipped up to the girl.
"Hi. I'm Vi, and I have to say it's a grand pleasure to meet you, finally. I've been trying to contact you for... well, that's a difficult thing to figure, since I never can be sure who it was I was supposed to contact, but now I'm just so positive that this is it and YOU ARE IT!" Vieve grinned, breathless and happy.

Akira was unsure of what to do next. What did Raja know about Seifer? It didn't matter, Raja was gone now.

Ami was befuddled. "Eh, who..." You're the other one who's after her...
Ami felt slightly wary of this girl, but for now she seemed innocent enough. She resolved to be friendly for now, but keep her guard up. Maybe this one was just another orphan like her brothers who didn't know what she was doing. It might not be too late for this one... "Nice to meet you, too."

Crud! Squall stormed out, gutted that after his new resolve hed missed his chance to shine. I need to be alone for awhile or im gonna pop! Squall headed towards the train graveyard

Vieve was just brimming with giggles. "I know this must seem strange to you, but in the ultimate scheme of things, there's a reason." Vieve started dancing around like a purebred hyperpuppy. "I'm sorry, I just can't contain myself!" Vieve flung her arms around the girl in a big, eager hug. "It feels like it's been ages, and I don't even know since what!"

Ami saw Squall storm in and out, and heard Lutz warn her to get a move on. Both indicated that right now, the church was not the place to be. "Can you hold that thought, kid? I got to go save the world or something like that." Ami disentangled herself. "You can tag along if you wanna."
She headed back towards the Ragnorak.

Vieve stood for a second, embracing the air. Then her arms dropped in frustration. "I can't even make her hold still if I'm physically making the effort to! She is seriously starting to get on my nerves!" Her voice echoed through the church as she ran out the door to follow Ami.

Akira entered the church. Talons grew from his arms. What the hell was happening? He tried to take control. No use. He began destroying the statues in the church.

Akira entered the church once again. His spikes grew from his arms and his talons emerged from his arms. There was a demon inside of him. When he lost control of his body, he could have done anything. "Sins....Mammon..."
He sat down at one of the church pews. He had to find out what Mammon had done to him. "Sins..." He closed his eyes as his spikes and talons receeded into his skin, and he left to find Mammon.

Akira entered the church along with his knights. "Now sacrifice your strength". The knights energy flowed into Akira's body, before the knights dropped lifelessly to the ground.

Xima heard his message, far away in the uninhabited backroads of the Western Continent's mountain country. She slowed her motorcycle to a stop by the roadside. "A proposition, hmm?"
She turned to her son, seated behind her. "Should we seek out this creature and hear what he would offer us?"
Fruxas smiled at her. "As you wish, Mother."
She smiled in return. "And when we reach Midgar... I have a present for you, darling."
He beamed. "What is it, Mother?"
"It's a surprise... so stop asking."
Xima concentrated. I am on the Western Continent... if you can bring us to your location, I will see if we can strike a deal.
Her thoughts turned inward, where he could not hear them. I need no one's help... but his power may serve me.
