Green energy arced through Sin's form. Ami found herself biting her thumb. She shook herself and watched over the boy. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"IS HE GETTING BETTER YET?"

"Geez! Hold your horses, yo! G**." He lost his concentration and was forced to focus his energy again. "OK... OK, I think he's coming around..."

"Since when was Reno able to do this?" Tifa whispered.

"Priveleged information, doll," he replied without missing a beat. "If I told you... I'd have to s***w you. I kid," he added hastily, knowing just how scary Tifa could be.

[Sin]

(You are only doing it cause you love me so much!)

Sin woke slowly with a snarl. He lept up and looked like he was trying to hold an imaginary sword. He fell back to his knees, and began caughing up all the blood that had dripped into his lungs, and fell back watching as his arms both became clawed and covered in some type of scales resembling his chest-plate in color, texture, and appearance. He slowly climbed back to his feet, using what he though was his own bladeas a crutch. He remembered his swords were put up somewhere else. He looked down and saw the tooth marked hole in the side, and mouthed the words 'What the ****...' He looked up at Ami, his pupils their normal color, yet the rest of his eyes were a black and red, with plightning like streaks of gold through them. He pushed the blade away, and tried to walk towards a chair, but tottered and fell onto the table. He looked back at them, and tried to smile. He had to very predominate fangs, and his tounge had forked.

"Vin...cent.... He.... He fused with me.... He... became me!"

"What the h**l is that supposed to mean?" Vincent asked quietly from his post behind Ami and the others.

Ami looked into Sin's eyes. "Is that you, Sin?" She looked deeper, her hand inching towards his. "What's happened to you..."

[Kidd Strife]

Kidd's face went into a frown as he saw his new form. I get it now. He rushed to Sin's side and spoke to him. "Can you still contro him out in the open like this?"

[Sin]

Sin laughed that high pitched maniacle laughter of the demon.

"Did you not here me? HE is ME! His will, his essence, his entire presence entered mine when I had nearly won back control of my body! We are the same person now. There is no difference anymore. Hehehehahahahhehehehehhahahah!"

[Kidd Strife]

Kidd hopped back drawing his keyblades. Son of an fin demon! His face had a look of disgust on it as he stared at Sin's newly found form. "Sin! Sin!"

[Amnesty Lazuli]

Ami stepped up, but Vincent held her back. He asked the only question that mattered as she tried to slip by. "Sin, do you mean us good or harm?"

Cloud and Tifa braced themselves in case they didn't like his answer...

Reno yanked his EMR, just for Rude to come out of the room to check up on him. "OOF!"

"Sorry, yo."

[Sin]

"Harm? Hehehehhahahahahehheheh I do not mean to attack you if thats what you mean, but harm? Who knows how many ways that can be interperated. For instance, I can torture you psychologically, but not physically harm you, or I can do the exact opposite of that. Who knows. Hehehehhahhahahhehehehhahahhheheheheheh."

He held his ribs while laughing, slowly calming down.

"No, I don't mean to attack you. I don't want to try and harm you either, but whatever the demon did to mnerge with me, even now I have the incredible urge to just fight, even if I die..."

[Amnesty Lazuli]

Ami tried once more to surge forward.

"Ami, no!"

Vincent pushed back so hard that she smacked her head on the opposite wall. Not hard enough to seriously injure her... just enough for her to wince and clutch it in pain.

That was more than enough.

"I told you to never come near her again!" Kadaj was standing there glaring at Vincent before anyone could even blink.

"Not now, Kadaj."

"Why not now? Now or never, that's what I believe in. I said never, but since you won't take never, I say now!"

In the confusion, Ami slipped past them both... and threw her arms around Sin. "Please, don't forget us. Hurt us, but don't forget us. Your friends."

Cloud shot forward to stop her, but he was far too late...

[Sin]

Sin did nothing, but eventually put one arm around her, and another on the back of her head, in a comferting way.

"I wont hurt you, not if I can help it. I will fight these urges as I fought the demon. I will fight as I fought him now, even if it means I kill myself. I don't want to lose control. I hate the feeling, the enjoyment of it when he takes control. I can feel how he feels, and I hate it. I hate it because I want it. I want it, but I refuse it..."

[Amnesty Lazuli]

Ami simply stood and hugged him. Kadaj abruptly tore her away. "Did you learn nothing from Lucrezia?!"

"Of course I learned!" Ami spat back. "Do you know what it took to just march up to him like that? I knew well and good what it could cost me!"

He slapped her. Hard.

"Cost YOU? What about US? Think of what losing you would do to us! Why don't you ever think of that? You're always thinking about yourself, and these pathetic charity cases of yours-- Great Aztar, Amnesty, use sense! Engage your brain!"

Ami cradled her face and glared. "You coward!"

Anger was clear in his eyes. "What did you call me?"

"Coward! Spoiled, selfish, egotistical brat! Think of others, you say to me? You NEVER think of anything but what you're afraid to lose! You don't ever let me think for myself, act for myself, choose who I can and cannot love! Do you think I don't know why Squall went away? And now you say Vincent--"

"Squall leaving had NOTHING to do with me!"

"Stop it!" Tifa screamed. "All of you shut up!" She glared at the siblings, one with anger, and the other with unadulterated hate. "Can none of you think? Stop acting like stupid children! We don't have time for this!"

"Tifa's right," Cloud agreed quietly. "We have to stop that beacon. We can sort out our little personal problems later." He couldn't help glancing at her on his word.

The parties seethed.

Reno cleared his throat. "Um, is it just me, or is it getting crowded in here?"

Slowly, everyone filed out. The ship was settling down in a clearing Yazoo had picked out, the closest place to the signal he could find.

Vincent edged towards Sin. "I'll help you learn how to control this. You won't need to suffer as I have."

Ami absently rubbed her injured cheek. Reno tried to look at it, but she shoved him away.

[Sin]

"Thank you Vincent, Ami."

He retrieved Cloud's weapon, and stared at it.

"Did I really eat through this?"

[Amnesty Lazuli]

Cloud, understandably uneasy, took the weapon back. "That's the rumor." He sheathed it, or what was left of it. "I'll want a replacement before we intercept that signal. Do we have time?"

Neither Kadaj nor Loz seemed willing to answer. Ami looked none too eager to provoke a response.

Reno poked Loz in the back. "He means you, Einstein."

Loz shrugged. "Don't ask me. I dunno."

"We have," Kadaj muttered. "There's time."

Ami's sulking look gave way to slight confusion, but before she could comment, the ship's engines cut out. Yazoo emerged. "Last stop, ladies and gentlemen."

"Finally, some good news," Tifa grumbled.

"Then I presume there is time for me to attend some unfinished business," Vincent observed.

"Yeah, I'll give you a ride," Ami quickly volunteered.

"Ami--" Loz whined, but she cut him off with a stern look and a gesture.

She turned on her heel towards the cargo bay. "I'll be back later. Meet me here when your business is done, fellas."

Vincent turned to Sin. "I don't suppose you'd like to tag along?"

((To Wutai Town-- Sin, take us there))

Sin nodded, and followed after them. He picked up his weapons on the way, and sheathed them across his back. He was going to get rid of them, for a more handable blade in Wutai he hoped. They arrived in the cargo bay, and Ami revved up the engine. Sin and Vincent got intot he sidecar, and Ami let lose at full throttle, There was a bit of a jump, as she hit a dip, and she skid. She gained ocntrol quickly and sped towards Wutai.
