It could have been seconds, it could have been minutes. But after what felt like an eternity later, he pulled back. His eyes, almost frightened, searched her face. "Fituna... I truly do not understand this..." He was almost shaking. "Why you are the only one who does this... of all the women of this world..." His fingers were twitching. "All I understand is... I have wanted to do that since the first moment I laid eyes on you."

Fituna stared back at him, at a loss for words she swallowed slightly and seemed to look for any answer to explain all of this. She felt flattered, overwhelmed and shocked; this whole thing did not go as she thought it would. But whether it was good or bad... she really couldn't decide....
"Yazoo I..." She looked back at him and, seeing him shaking and looking almost scared, she ran her hand over his cheek softly. She thought about his words, not having any idea how to answer him. "I don't understand this either.... but what I do know is that we both feel the same...." She spoke softly, trying to calm his nerves.

He barely refrained from leaning his face into her hand... somehow it soothed him... but the sudden lack of agitation meant his mind was allowed to clear for a moment. He was beyond believing himself... had he really kissed her a moment ago? Had her touch really affected him so profoundly? He suddenly felt like the entire while he had been distantly watching himself, and he didn't know whether or not that was what he wanted... the confusion once again began to rise and came to fever pitch. He seized her hand and held it. "Fituna... it never occurred to me I could ever have a chance like this again." he confessed. "I don't know you. Mere hours ago I fully intended to kill you, if I had to." His eyes dropped. "I mean to say... I find myself feeling strongly for you. But I am not certain what that means, if it indeed means anything." He looked up at her again, agitation evidently burning in his eyes. "This is happening too fast... I can't think this fast. Give me time. Please... please understand." He didn't want to drive her away... without thinking, he embraced her. "I need more time."

Fituna stiffened and then relaxed as he took her hand, looking back at him in almost confusion. She thought about it to and realized how rash the last few minutes had been. She swallowed slightly, letting him talk and letting his words sink in. She made sure she understood him... not wanting to mess up at all....
Fituna looked back at him, seeing his frustration. She nodded, unable to think of something to say. She made a silent gasp as he embraced her, shocked. She slowly leaned into him and hugged him back. "However long you need, Yazoo...." She smiled a bit, forcing herself not to blush. "I don't want to rush you...."

He smiled, visibly relieved. "Thank you." He went on holding her for a few moments, unable to convince himself of the reality of his circumstances... My brothers will wake me and bawl me out for oversleeping any moment now. Work remained to be done, but at the moment he felt taken in by the impossibilities he had just encountered.

Fituna closed her eyes and smiled a little wider. "No problem." She felt strangely comfortable... usually this would be awkward... but it wasn't. She liked being so close to him and when she realized he wasn't moving, she didn't make any move to...
I would much rather Jeremy ruin this then to walk away myself....

He finally forced himself to move. He realized full well that the longer he kept at this, the greater his chances of being caught. He pulled back, his eyes still locked with hers. "We... still have much to do." He felt a little stupid for being the one to suggest they move apart, but he knew he'd feel many more times as stupid were he to be seen with her like this.
((Sorry about taking so long. I kinda conked out again... >.< I must really need to sleep.))

((Its okay, I understand.))
Fituna nodded and watched him for a minute before smiling wryly. "Then lets get it done. This guy should be easy..." She gave him one last look before slowly moving to the side and going into the warehouse.
"Took you long enough." Jeremy threw a rock at the wall, looking over. "Where ya been?"
"None ya." Fituna countered in a sharp tone before sitting lightly on the floor. "Okay... lets get this over with."

Yazoo sat a short distance from her, not wanting to give away to the others what had passed between them just yet. "So what's the plan?" he asked as evenly as possible, despite the incredibly volatile emotions and similar feelings now wreaking havoc on his normally unshakeable equilibrium.

Fituna placed four colored rocks on the ground and a sprinkling of this dark dust from a small bag. "Okay, so Fredrickt lives a few miles south of here, under a small house to conceal himself. Unlike our Vikktor he was more careful with the design of his base. We can't just barge into there like you guys did." She glanced to Yazoo before looking back.
"Heres the layout of what I know." From memory she started drawing out the blue prints of the house.

Yazoo caught the glance, and in an instant, everything came home to him. You have just given in to a purely physical attraction on a spur of the moment impulse, and revealed vulnerability to someone who has yet to prove she can be trusted. Are you totally and completely out of your mind?
He shook himself. It's not too late to reclaim this situation. It was one encounter. A single mistake is inexcusable, but still redeemable. Simply act as if it did not happen, complete this doomed mission, and walk out of her life. To h**l with understanding... that was too close back there.
She may be confused or even upset, but it's for the best in the end. Affection is not part of your natural composition and it will be better for her if she realizes that quickly. His stomach-wringing agitation began to fade with the calm of decision. All I truly needed was resolution. And the last thing she truly needs is me.
Yazoo examined the blueprints, determined to commit them to memory and increase the likelihood of quick success. I've got to get back to my brothers. I've become unstable without them.

Fituna waited before drawing out other markers. "We have to go in through this door, from there we can locate the way down to his real base. Kuro and Jeremy will sneak in and set off any and all alarms as soon as they fully get in. You two will go down these halls and keep anything away from Frederickt as Yazoo and I go through here *point* and intercept him from escaping. Which he will indeed try to do."
The two boys nodded as Fituna finished. "After that we have to quickly destroy Fredrickt, disable his sercurity, and get the h*ll out of there before his lackies come back from their drinking party...."

Yazoo viewed the plan with a cold eye. "Deceptively simple, but reckless. I don't dispute your fighting prowess, but I refuse to underestimate our enemy." He turned to Fituna cooly. "Would you mind being more specific, if you please? What are his capabilities? What kind of security does he employ? Are there any weak points?"

"weak points are that they are primitive and predictable, his security that is. Capabilities are that he is a skilled and seasoned fighter, but as for anything special there is nothing. He relies on his weapons and skill. Unlike Vikktor." She answered quickly, feeling more rushed now. She didn't look up at him though, still looking over and fool proofing her plan.

He nodded brusquely. "Good." His remark applied both to her evaluation and to her reaction to his critique. You've got a thick skin... He shook himself again. Stop it. You've made up your mind-- stick with your plan and it will all be very, very simple. He returned to his comfortably normal state... but there was a sort of inner tinkling in the midst of his normal icy haze that prevented him from feeling all was well. "Weapons and skill we seem to be equipped with in spades. My only concerns are the possibility of Iz and her associate returning too soon-- they are obviously forces to be reckoned with-- and the complications of the fortress' structure."
