Ami felt rumbling beneath her feet. Guys... I know you're trying to help, but don't blow up the building before I get out of it!

Reno and Rude had gotten into the top floor and were busy locking it down with the security codes they'd been forced to memorize in training. "Finally, turns out those p***ks taught us something useful, yo," Reno remarked, securing another door. "Nobody gets in, nobody gets out..."
He felt something beneath his feet rumbling. "Uh, partner... you didn't rig up two cars to explode without telling me, did ya?"
Rude frowned. "That's no car bomb..."

The giant wasn't quick enough to dodge these attacks, and the dark energy knocked him off his feet... but wasn't enough to waste him completely. He slowly pushed himself up and swung his sword up at the ceiling, trying to knock Kidd back to the floor.

* BOOM!* T - 13 Crashed up through the floor and lowered himself to the ground with his tentacles, " Hello boys?! Where have i seen your faces before?" * laughs mockingly* " Oh yeah! Theres a massive reward to the man who drags your sorry asses back to the boss... Looks like itll be me?!... Once ive delivered this dead weight." * Looks down at squall, still slumped over his shoulder, then back to reno and rude* " Be right back! " Strides past them

Kidd was slamed by the blunt side of the sword on his left shoulder. A peircing pain went down his arm. Kidd flipped in the air landing on his feet. He combined his swords together and held them in his dominant hand, his right. "F***! That hurt." Kidd raised his hand as he was enulfed in a field of dark energy. He dissapeared into the ground and came out from above the giant with his sword tip down. "You're mine."

Reno looked to his partner. "Oh..."
"S**t," Rude agreed.
"Was that...?"
"Squall."
Reno looked at T-13. "I do not envy him... Ami's gonna kick his a**."
Rude stopped for a moment. "Wherever he's going..."
Reno suddenly got it. "Rufus is there. And Ami?"
"Most likely."
Reno got out his EMR. "Then let's follow the bucket of bolts... from a distance."

Ami felt the floor quaking more and more violently with every second... heard a series of thuds that sounded disturbingly like... footsteps.

The giant only had time to look up and say, "Oh d--" before Kidd split his head open.
The rest of the security guards looked at each other. They looked at Kidd. They looked at the fallen giant.
The rookies all began stampeding for the nearest exit. The veterans all charged Kidd at once... but there weren't nearly so many veterans as rookies...

"Zentsuken!" Kidd dashed through the vetrens at light speen. As Kidd held his stance the bodies dropped one by one. "Now to the top floor." Kidd cast cure on him and Nikky and ran into the elevator. He pushed a button as it ascended to the top floor. His arm limped at his side.

The elevator door refused to open for Kidd and Nikky... Reno and RUde had already entered the security code into it, ensuring no way to open it from inside or out until they could come back and use their codes to reset the system.

T - 13 reached the end of the corridor and ripped the door of its hinges, he entered the room, door in hand, and looked down at ami *laughs* "Alright princess? Beleive this belongs to you?" He threw Squalls body down infront of her and dropped the gunblade next to him. Then suddenly erupted with rage. " DONT TRY SNEAKING UP ON ME!" He stepped back into the corridor and threw the door frisbee style towards Reno and Rude " MAN!" he turned and walked back towards ami, " Hows the hospitality here? haha"

"Man I wish I could lift this guys sword. I cant carry the Sacrifice either." Kidd climbed a staircase to the next floor and saw holes to the top floor. "Now all I need is a ladder."

Reno barely dropped to the floor in time, but the door knocked Rude out cold. Reno had to drag his partner to safety before he could continue on the the office, where he knew Rufus and the others were waiting...

Ami gaped in a mixture of horror and relief. He IS here... but... is he... She dropped to the floor and gathered Squall into her arms, embracing him as if there would be no tomorrow. "Squall... please, talk to me... say something, please!"
Ami's two guards kept their guns trained not on her, but Squall. AMi looked up at them and realized the horrible truth.
Now I understand... why Rufus isn't afraid of any of this. He knows as long as there is a chance Squall might get hurt, I won't even threaten to act up. He caught my family to bring me here... and Squall to keep me here.
She looked up with gritted teeth at the corporate tyrant. "You b*****d!"

Squall stirred and groggily lifted his arm, rubbing the back of his head, "... Hey" Squall smiled and looked at her through barely open eyes, Thank god your ok... im a wreck! " Whats happening?" he groaned, I been strapped to that torture rack for days!
" This is cosy! Haha" T - 13 chuckled to himself and looked at the figures around the room, " I have no idea what this is all about... I think Ill wait outside..." He walked outside again and looked down the corridor, " haha looks like baldy tried catching that door with his head!" *stands up straight and puffs out chest, completely obstructing the doorway*. " No ones enters."

Kidd found a ladder and began to climb through the hole. The he saw a door come flying at him. He was thrown of balance and he fell back to the floor staring up through the hole. "Im coming , Im coming."

Reno got Rude clear of the area. "Rest easy, partner," he instructed before getting the sniper rifles out.
"No one else enters."
Reno took aim at the enormous cybernetic soldier. "Oh, yeah?"
He began firing at the cyborg's joints and vulnerable areas. Wear him down with the gunfire first, then get ready to go head-to-head with the EMR... since it's electromagnetic, maybe it'll sc**w with his circuits...

Ami heard him speak, felt him move, and relief washed over her in waves.
She didn't care about the disgusting excuse for a man watching her. She didn't care about the soldiers prepared to gun her and Squall down at the first sign of a false move.
If I've learned anything from those goofballs Reno and Nikky... it's that love doesn't wait for a convenient moment.
She gave Rufus a venomous glare. Let me show you something money won't buy. "We're together again, Squall... that's what's happening... nothing else matters," she whispered to him. SHe tilted his head towards her and kissed him deeply, trying to take some of his pain away.

Kidd climbed the ladder only this time to fall off due to guns firing. "F***! WHen I get up there some unlucky btard is s****** beyond death." Kidd got up and began to climb once more.
