Ami blinked. "What the h**l..."
Rude approached and jabbed the Sacrifice at Dimitri's head. "I believe you owe us an introduction. Who are you, and who are you working for?" This guy is no Turk... he's not with Shinra, that much I can tell right off the bat.

Dimitri flipped his gunblade around and slid it into the sheath at his side.
"My name is Dimitri Natios, and I'm not working for ANYONE as of two seconds ago..." He said, turning to leave. "My apologies." He said to Ami as he turned.

"Then who are you not working for?" Ami called as he walked away. "I promised my boyfriend I'd be coming right back to him, and you almost made me break that promise. I want to know who wants me dead..." Let's get the usual suspects out of the way. "Did Rufus Shinra send you?"
Rude kept the gun trained at Dimitri's head as Amnesty stood, dusting herself off. "A fair question."

He stopped, then slowly turned back towards them.
"Indeed it is a fair question..." He said, taking his fedora off to reveal his face, there was a scar that crossed from his eyebrow down to his cheek-bone. "No, Rufus Shinra did not hire me for this job. I was hired by a man who is in his employ though and apparently he wants you VERY dead."

"Tseng," Rude confirmed to himself. "I thought so." Well, that settles that... he's still very much alive. He holstered the Sacrifice.
"And so the cycle of 'violence begets violence' begins anew," Ami remarked sarcastically. She stepped forward.
Rude's forehead creased, and his hand twitched towards the rifle mechanism again. Careful, Ami... it could be a trick.
She offered him a hand, her face a study in cynic weariness. "Amnesty Lazuli, lately remnant extraordinaire. Apology accepted." She shook hands. "Well, looks like you're out of luck, friend. You decided to see me as a person instead of a bounty... that kind of thinking tends to get people of my acquaintence killed."

Dimitri bowed his head slightly.
"Its of little consequence. I dont practice business in any other way. No women no kids. Plain and simple." He said, placing his fedora back on his head. "However, I now have business with Mr. Tseng, because he knows my rule VERY well and by sending me after you, he has broken the rules... Not something many living souls have done."

Ami looked over at Rude. He looked back at her, both knowing what the other intended to say.
Ami said it. "Why don't you come with us? If Tseng wants me so bad, it won't be long before he sends more people like you... folks who don't have that sort of rule." Ami smiled at him. "You seem pretty handy in a fight. We can always use more of that."
"Besides, you have regular contact with Tseng... perhaps we can use that to our advantage," Rude surmised.
Ami was already mulling it over. "Feed him false info... a few bad leads..."
Rude picked it up. "Track his location..."
"Maybe even hack into his accounts... my brothers can crack any system just as long as they have a console available..."
Rude nodded. "So what do you say? Even if you want to go it alone, perhaps we could find some other mutually beneficial arrangement..."

Dimitri thought it over a moment, then nodded.
"Agreed... You seem like decent enough people, normally that doesnt matter, but when I choose allies, I'm very picky." He said, holding out his hand.

Rude took it and shook with him. "Have you any transportation?"
"Gunmetal's seats are already taken, I'm afraid," Ami reported regretfully. "So unless you want to share a rather small wire metal sidecar with a supply bag, two guns, a sack of cereal, and heaven only knows what else, you might need some wheels of your own to get back to our ship." We're long overdue to blow this joint.
Sirens were echoing through the streets below. Rude frowned. We'd better hurry before they start checking the nearby structures for survivors...

Dimitri glanced over his shoulder at the approaching sirens.
"I've got transport, where shall I meet you?"

"The outskirts of Lower Junon, beyond the military surplus," Rude instructed. "Try to take a seperate route from our own... I assume you're familiar with the area."
He turned back to Ami. "Meanwhile, the two of us may have to take a long way back... we have to avoid being seen at all costs."
"Agreed," Ami conceded, grabbing her helmet and pushing her head into it. "Let's hop this hogtown for greener pastures, huh?"
Rude got on behind her. "Does it disturb you that what you just said made absolutely no sense?"
Ami shrugged. "Nope."
She started the engine. "Meet ya back at the tin bird, homey. Which, translated, means, 'See you at the Ragnorak.' Welcome to the team, friend!"
She started her cycle and roared off...
((To Lower Junon))
