Tseng slammed Kadaj's head down into the floor once more after he passed out, then spun around, dropping to his back and catching Reno in mid-air with a double kick, then used Reno's momentum to send him flying past and slamming him right into the charging Loz.
"Boss may want blood... but I want it more!" He shouted in fury.
Tseng rushed at Loz with his dual EMR's and struck him over and over with them, first the shoulders, then the ribs, then the stomach.

Loz felt those blows, and they made him mad. He staggered slightly before catching one of those EMRs with his Dual Hound and delivering a rib-crunching punch to Tseng's trunk.
Reno got up and found his partner knocked out cold yet AGAIN. "Kidd, help me get him outta here, while Quicksilver Boy keeps Tseng busy!"
They started carrying him up to the copter.
Yazoo passed them on the way down and braked to a halt. "Wha--"
"Tseng just knocked your brother cold in there, and he might do the same to the other one," Reno cut him off. "Ya might wanna lend a hand back there, yo."
Yazoo blinked with surprise. A normal... defeating one of US? Impossible...
He rushed in to see if Reno spoke the truth and immediately sized up the situation. He opened fire on Tseng, charging towards him...

Tseng took the hit and it rocked his entire body, he felt something inside crack and he groaned loudly in agony. He then felt a sharp pain zap through his side as a bullet knicked him from Yazoo's gun, so he unexpectedly spun Loz around directly into the line of fire, letting round after round punch into him from Yazoo's gun. When his brother halted fire at the realization of who he was shooting, Tseng pulled all the force he could into his fist and punched Loz with all his might, sending him toppling backwards into his brother.

Ami slammed the copter door shut behind Reno and Rude. She did a quick head count. Kidd, Reno, Rude, Nikky, Mom, Dad, Lana, Squall... "That's everybody but the boys..."

Stunned, Loz began to rise. Being on equal footing with someone was a new experience for him...
He stopped and looked at his hands. They were starting to glow green... We're going back... Tseng was coming at them, but it was already too late.
Yazoo heard the buzzing cell in Elena's pocket build to a crescendo as he dissolved into a shimmering cloud of green particles, watching his unconscious younger brother do the same... Our work here is done, Ami... get the others a safe distance away! This building is going to self-destruct!

Ami's eyes widened as she secured Rude into another laid-back seat. "Reno, take us outta here! NOW!!!" she screamed, strapping herself back in.
Reno threw himself into the pilot seat. What I'd give for a copilot... but the only other two people here who know how to fly are out of commission... He started the engine and lifted off...
Lana cried out. "What about the boys?"
Ami found it hard to answer. "They're already gone... but they're still here with us." How else can I explain it to them?
The helicopter made best possible speed towards Lower Junon... as Ami heard an almighty rumbling behind them...

The building erupted into a fiery opus of explosions as the very foundation of it erupted in flames and collapsed, dropping the entire facility down, crumbling it to a pile of rubble within moments and leaving a 100 foot tall cloud of dust behind, when the dust cleared, the Shinra building was no more...

Squall stirred and lifted his head slightly. " This feels even worse than the last time i came to?..." Squall rubbed his head and went to moved himself up his seat a little, but stopped dead and went a shade pink. WTF?! Squall looked down at his leg, small tears forming in the corner of his eyes, OWWEE!... haha how did i forget being shot in the leg? Squall sat motionless for a moment, waiting for the pain to subside, then let out a large breath of air and looked around. Who are those guys? * Looks at Ami quizzicaly* Hold the phone! " Are they your parents?!... How rude of me! nice to AAH!" Squall made to shake hands with them but doubled up again as he moved his leg... " CURE!" he shouted through clenched teeth, an almighty mass of green light rushing through his body, that was a big one! * rubs leg* " Thats gonna leave a nice bruise..." Squall looked at Ami again a let out a happy sigh, Dunno how you got us out of that one but nicely done! * kisses her on the cheek*
" Take good care of her"
Squall looked around confused, then back to Ami. " one of your bros?"

Ami watched the fireball rise, dropping back against her seat with a sigh of relief. Thank G**... She looked up at Squall, eyes shining. "Yes... I do think it was..." She wrapped her arms around him. "I love you so much, Squall. I was so afraid for you..." She wanted to kiss him, but she couldn't help realizing her parents were watching... It's my birthday. What the h**k. She pulled him towards her and her lips met his, hungry for his love. "Mmm..."
Reno struggled to keep the copter from going into a spin as a powerful rush of wind from the explosion rushed by. "Everybody hang on!"
Ami clung to Squall as the helicopter weaved through the air, attempting to regain equilibrium... Ami's family was screaming... Rude groaned, starting to come around amidst all this chaos...
Finally, Reno managed to get the helicopter level again and flying a course the looked like it hadn't been charted by a drunk. "Where to, guys?"
"The Ragnorak," Ami shouted back. "On the double!"
Reno had to disagree. "Rufus will be expecting us there if we take the copter... we'll have to ditch it in Lower Junon or somethin'."
"Whatever." Ami did a double take. "Kadaj... didn't take care of Rufus?"
"I guess not. I heard his shuttle taking off, yo."
Ami facepalmed herself. "Wonderful. Which means someday we gotta do this all over again." She looked up again. "What about your old friends Tseng and Elena?"
"Tseng was still in the building when it went up. Still, I think we'll be seeing him again... it wouldn't be the first time that lucky sucker came back from the dead."
"And Elena?"
Reno didn't know if she wanted to know the answer, but he went ahead anyway. "Your brother... well, Elena was about to serve my a** to me on a silver platter, so he... intervened."
Ami nodded gravely. "There's just no getting away from it, is there?"
Reno didn't know what she meant at first, but it dawned on him soon enough. "Nope, I guess not."

Ami braked to a stop inside the gloomy building, filled with the dust of the former Shinra office. She had narrowly avoided running into the vehicular blockade that the police were starting to set up on her way over...
People were starting to make their way towards the source of the explosion: emergency workers, curiosity seekers, scavengers. One would think a girl wearing a black cape and a bald guy in a leather jacket would have drawn more attention, but they managed to get into the complex with only minor difficulties.
Ami parked the bike on the top floor, next to the pile of things they had left earlier. "Good thing we came back... my supply bag is still here, too." She started loading things onto the sidecar. "You'll have to sit behind me on the return trip... awkward, yes, but neccessary."
Rude shrugged. It didn't make any difference to him.

Dimitri hurried across the asphault of the parking structure, toting his gunblade carrying case along with him and keeping low, the explosion had definitely come from somewhere in the area and judging by Reno and Rude's last known location, he was willing to bet anything that they were involved somehow...

Everything was just about loaded up and ready to go. "My helmet's even with all this mess. Good lord, glad you remembered at the last second..." Ami's head snapped towards the back of the complex. "Did you hear something?"
Rude didn't say a word... he just got the Sacrifice out of the sidecar and strapped it on.
Ami drew her swords. "I'll take that as a yes."

Dimitri came up over the lip of the broken-out window frame and looked down, spotting Rude standing by a familiar looking motorcycle unit... and there next to it stood a figure in a black hood, which had to be 15 Prime.
"Well, this job was easier than I thought it would be..." He said to himself, opening his gunblade case.
He pulled out his weapon and lifted it up, letting it rest on his arm as he gazed down the sight of the barrel towards the target, going for a dead-center headshot.

Rude looked around... and spotted a shadowy figure aiming a gunblade at Ami from the devestated building across the street. "AMI, DOWN!"
She instinctivel dropped to the floor as Rude opened fire at the assassin, letting fly a barrage of energy charges.

Dimitri fired off his shot a moment before the target dropped down, pushed out of the way by Rude. The shot sailed harmlessly over their heads and struck the wall behind them. Dimitri swore to himself and stuck the gunblade into the wall of the building, sliding all the way down and then kicking off it, sailing through the air and dodging shots from Rude until he landed on the parking structure, firing off more shots as he rushed Rude.

Rude backed up slowly as he kept firing. How does this nutjob keep dodging my shots?
Ami rolled to the side and took cover behind Gunmetal. She blinked at the gunblade... An out-of-work SeeD, or what? If this guy can fight like Squall, we're all in trouble.
She charged the stranger from the side as he crossed her path, leaping over Gunmetal, cape flying. She brought her swords simultanesouly towards the blade and his neck...

Dimitri fired off one last shot at Rude, then spun around, deflecting her strike with such force that it stumbled her back a step, and also knocked off her hood. Dimitri forced her blades downward so his gunblade was pointed directly at her face, but then he froze when he saw her. His expression went stone cold and he shook his head.
"No women no kids..." He said. moving his blade aside and holding it out in a non-threatening manner. "This fight is over."
