nikky gasped in slight shock. she quickly jumped back up and stared at anything and everything trying hard not to blush... well that was embarrassing... to say the least. she swallowed all her pride and closed her eyes before going to help the two others up.

Reno rolled off of the big dude, still trying to absorb what had just happened. I don't believe it. We were in a room, behind a closed door... nothing catastrophic is happening... and we STILL got interrupted...
Still face down on the floor, a thought came to him, a thought which provoked him to do something very weird.
He started giggling... and snickering... and finally he was helpless on the floor with laughter.
He saw everyone staring at him and tried to explain. "It has just occurred to me, what is going on here," he said, half-sitting up and dissolving into laughter. "Everybody on this ship... everybody but us, Nikky... is a closet Puritan..." He busted up again, smacking the floor. "And... and they set up little cameras..." He was getting sillier by the second. "So they... ha ha!... they can see what we're doing at all times... and whenever we start to..." He flopped back on the floor and laughed uncontrollably, putting a hand to his head. "By G**..." He giggled a few more times before weaving his way to his feet and taking Nikky's hand. "That's the only probably explanation for all this, you know..." He started laughing again, gasping for breath. He just couldn't stop.

Dimitri got to his feet quickly, scratching his head in both confusion and embarassment. He didnt know what to say, he never was much good with people... and this wasnt exactly a normal situation either. He watched as Reno giggled like a hyena on the floor and offered a hand.
"Terribly sorry about that... Dimitri Natios, nice to meet you."

"Reno," he giggled in reply. "Wow, talk about first impressions, yo?" He kept on laughing, trying to get a grip on himself. He noticed the gunblade. "You one of Squall's homeboys or something?" His shoulders were still shaking with suppressed hilarity.
Ami's mom, somewhat red-faced, moved to sit down.
Lana looked from her, to the three in the corridor, to the others. "Why do I get the feeling I really, REALLY don't want to know what just happened?"

Dimitri glanced down at his weapon and shook his head at Reno.
"No, I dont believe I've met him yet actually... It would appear that myself and he come from the same brood though."

Rude came into the passenger area, looking very huffy. That d**n chocobo had nearly pecked his eye out.
He sat next to Lana. She grinned at him. "I'm Lana... but you can call me Lonnie."
She batted her eyelashes at him.
He groaned and dropped his head forward, rubbing his temples in painful little circles. This is just not my day. He looked around... all the other seats were filled. Terrific.

Ami resisted the urge to scratch the wound on her face, the one she'd gotten on the bridge of the nose from one of Kamen's goons. She glanced at Squall's scar and chuckled dryly. "Check it out, we're twins."

"Cool, cool," Reno grinned, finally starting to mellow out a little bit (below emu-on-acid levels). "SeeD, huh? No kidding, man... I'm a former Turk, me and Rude both. Put it there, yo." He stuck out his hand for a shake. "Looks like we're in the same boat, employment-wise, yo. Speaking of clones, you met Ami yet? She's the chick got me fired... remind me to thank her someday." Wonder who this guy is... and what he's doing with us all of a sudden. He seems cool, though...

"Yes, I was actually hired to kill Ami." He said, no trace of humor evident in his voice. "And I'm also well aware of who you and Rude are, there's an average price on both of your heads as well."

Reno blinked at Dimitri placidly. He put his chin in his hand as if thinking. "Is that right?"
"Relax, Reno," Rude called from the passenger area. "Tseng hired him, but he turned the job down. He's with us. Apparently, he doesn't kill women or children... which means you are doubly safe."
Reno lauched sarcastically. "Ah, ha ha ha... Are you trying to be funny again, yo?" He shook his head. "Rude and jokes go together like dogs and funny little costumes... it happens, but it's rarely very pretty, yo." He thought about this bounty hunter's self-regulation. "I got a kind of soft spot for kids, too. That happens to be Ami's fault as well... once again, seems we got something in common here. I got hired to smoke her and her brothers, but it turns out later, they got away. I didn't know that, though, and I felt so bad about it... I was barely more than a kid myself at the time... I said I wasn't gonna hurt kids anymore." He shrugged. "So there's my sob story, yo. Now that we got that outta the way, let's get back to the introductions. This..." He pulled Nikky forward to say hello. "This extremely beautiful woman is Nikky, and she is one of the two things I got in my life worth a d**n, yo. And I'm happy to be caught doing potentially embarrassing things in her company anytime." He smirked at the bounty hunter. Bet ya wish you were me, right?

Dimitri bowed his head to Nikky again.
"pleasure to meet you Nikky, Dimitri Natios." He said respectfully, then suddenly, Reno heard his voice again, but his mouth didnt move. "You joke about it, but there are some that would give anything to have someone like that... Dont let her go." He said in Reno's mind.

Reno pulled back, startled. "Hey, you can do the head trip thing?" Just like Ami's bros. Funny... I thought I felt kinda weird around him... that crazy itch I get... "That's cool, yo. Oh, and don't worry..." He put his arm around Nikky's shoulders and leaned his head against hers. "I don't plan to."
Why do I get that itch whenever I'm around some kind of telepath?

Rude noticed that Lana was still gooning off at him. He tried to inch away from her... she inched along after him... He felt like pitching himself out a window. Sorry, kid, but I don't like younger women... in fact, I'm not much into women in general... or men, either...
Ami's mother had to stifle a little laugh. Lana had always been attracted to older men, especially men in leather coats...

Dimitri nodded to Reno slightly, which was about as much emotion as he usually showed.
"Well if I'm to be staying aboard the ship I'd prefer to be DOING something rather than sitting around, I have gunner training, pilot training and can probably run any piece of equipment onboard this vessel... I've always wanted one..." He said, looking around the ship.

"Well, you'd have to talk to Squall about that-- this is his baby, not mine," Reno informed him. "He said something about wanting to teach Ami how to make it work, yo... I think that's what they're doing now..."

Reno almost toppled again. "Hey, what the h**l..." he yelped.
