Squall walked away from the mansion and went for a stroll around the town, Not much here... Not much here at all? where is everyone?! Squall turned full circle and saw no one... Should rent a room for when everyone arrives... Shouldnt be any difficulty finding any vacancies!?

"Let's," Ami agreed. They roared off in the direction Squall had indicated.
Ami blinked. What the... She felt a presence following them. Oh, no, not the Wolfman again?
She revved up the bike. Faster, a little faster... I've had enough wolf-thing for one day!

Squall noticed the slight speed increase and thought nothing of it... * revs increase more* What the? Squall turned and look behind him. " A... Are you ok?" christ slow down girl were not wearing helmets or anything!? "Slow it down where almost at my ship?"

Ami braked a little. He had a point-- she hated being without her helmet, but she'd heard using a broken one was even more dangerous than none at all. "Where? Where's the ship?" It better be close... that thing ain't far behind!

" Umm ... Stop here I think this is it..." They slowed down and Squall hopped off, Hmmmm... squall wandered around, looking out into space and muttering to himself. " Its here somewhere!" he muttered to himself. *Bing!* suddenly a light shone out of nowhere and ran across Squalls face, then out of nowhere a huge red Spaceship appeared infront of him. " Found it!"

Ami did a double take. "What a way to park," she remarked. "There's room for Gunmetal on there, right?"

" 'Course! come on!" Squall walked towards it and a ramp came down from underneath, he signalled for Amnesty to drive on, " Welcome aboard!"

Amnesty grinned. "Aye-aye, Cap'n!" she shouted, guiding her bike up the ramp. She parked just inside of the hatchway and got off her beloved chopper. "My bags are packed, I'm ready to go!"
She removed her jacket and tied it round her waist, revealing a lacy white shirt. The sole piece of jewelry on her person was a dogtag chain around her neck, with four keys hanging from it.

Squall walked up the ramp and it closed behind him. " This is the Ragnorak..." Squall said looking around, Havent had anyone on here for ages... Should i do a tour?... Nah... Squall walked down the corridor and through a door which opened for him. " Come on, you can sit in the co-pilot seat... But dont touch anything!"

Ami sat down and glanced at the controls. Very few made any immediate sense to her. "No touching. Check."
A jab of pain shot through the middle of her head. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back. "I hate stress headaches." Just relax for a second and you'll be fine.
Her scar began to sting. "What the--"
Everything went white. She felt somebody nudge her. "Ami? Ami, wake up."
Ami's eyes darted around. "Who--? Squall?"
A good-humored laugh-- horribly familiar-- rang out of the void behind her. "Sorry to disappoint," a young voice admitted. Not the Voice hiding at the back of her head, but one she'd known just as well and almost as long. My brother...
Ami froze, afraid to turn around and see the truth. "You... you aren't... gone?"
"I am, I'm afraid," he corrected solemnly.
Ami went a shade paler than usual. "Then am I--?"
"No," he interrupted. "That brings us to why I'm here."
Ami closed her eyes and clenched her fists. "Sure, you're here now," she said bitterly. "Where were you when I needed you?"
A moment of surprised quiet. "Trying to save your life, that's where."
"And what good did that do?" Ami snapped.
"It worked, didn't it?! Not the way we planned, but it worked."
Ami shuddered with anger. "You really think I don't know why you left? It had nothing to do with saving me and everything to do with being afraid of watching me die."
"You're right, of course," he retorted. "I've made it my business to keep you and the others out of trouble, ever since I was old enough to know what 'trouble' meant. If anything had happened to one of you, I would have failed. Failing is not something that I do."
Ami slumped. "It's easy. I do it all the time."
She heard a sigh. "To think I came here under the impression you'd be happy to see me again."
"I am," Ami replied, her voice breaking. "I think that's why I'm so mad."
Silence. A long silence. "Come here." Ami turned around, staring at her feet. He put his arms round her. "It's all right. Just don't cry. I hate to see that."
"I'm not sure I remember how to anyway. I'm all cried out," she replied in a monotone.
A slight smile. "You poor thing." The businesslike tone again. "I know what you're doing," he told her. "You're trying to find her, the way I did. But not for the same reason."
Ami let out a shuddering sigh. "What do you expect? It's her fault all this happened."
"Very true. More true than you know. But I'm not sure you're strong enough to do this. I thought I was, and look what happened. Why don't you go home?"
Ami turned away. "I won't. I'd rather wind up like you than be stuck like this the rest of my life."
"I don't think you know the full ramifications of what you're saying."
"Then enlighten me," she said stubbornly.
"You're not a bad girl. But you don't have to be to do what she wants. I've seen what she can do to a mind-- you think the ball's in your court, but it turns out it's her ball, and her court, and you're playing on her team." He waited for the gravity of this to sink in.
Ami shook her head. "I'll never belong to her."
"You already do, and you know it. That's what this is really about."
Ami blinked-- and when her eyes opened, the scene was gone. I must have dozed off. Was I dreaming, or... Nah, it couldn't be, could it?

(( Nice post!))
Squall sat down in a large seat in the centre of the thingpit. He fastened a heavy leather seatbelt and hit some buttons on the panel infront of him. There was a roaring sound and the ship shot up into the clouds. " You ok?" Most people would have puked... She looks kinda out of it though?

"Hmmm, huh?" She looked around as if she'd just come out of a Underground tunnel and didn't know east from west. "Uh, sure. I think I nodded off for a second..."
