[[Yay! I finally get to play my baddie. XD]]
Kamen clenched his teeth a little as he followed them. Excited? Nah... not unless you count the adrenaline rush. He grinned, slightly nervous. I'm not the first to stand up to my master. But I'll be the only successful one.
As they traveled a while their destination came into view. It was a castle looking structure. Tall and dark, covered in what looked like ivy and moss. It was surounded by the marshes and looked dreary and unwelcoming.... but it strangly resembled its resident. Cold and dark.... [[Use yur imagination on this one. XD I'm not feeling creative....]]

Kadaj looked the structure over and mulled over the two possibilities. He decided to leave it to someone who knew exactly what he was dealing with... We can do this the sneaky way, which takes more time and isn't anywhere near as much fun, or we can just speed up the bikes and climb the walls that way, which will likely bring down the entire security of the place on us but is most definitely the more entertaining way of doing this. Which would you prefer? Make up your mind fast... we're almost there.

Kamen only thought for a second before responding. Knowing my Master it wouldn't hurt much just to go through the front doors. His security is minimal and I know them. We can go either way. But going right in IS easier.... and fun.

I wouldn't advise that... Yazoo warned. He may be better prepared for our arrival thanks to your rebellious comments...
Kadaj did the mental equivalent of a scoff. Yazoo, whatever he's got waiting in there, I'm pretty sure we can handle it.
Brother, please don't get too thingy, not again...
Yazoo, relax!
Kadaj cranked up the gas and accelerated, giving the others no choice but to follow him headlong into battle... he reared the cycle up on its back wheel and at the last moment brought the fore wheel back down, smashing the front gates to a multitude of splinters and misplaced nail, plowing straight into the fort, drawing his sword on the fly and instinctively raising it to block position... Yazoo had his pistol at the ready and Loz charged his pile bunker as the chunks of wood settled around them, prepared for an all-barrels-blazing battle...

Kamen smirked as they took the fun way. This should be a surprise for you Vikktor.
Kamen sharply turned his bike and stopped, instinctively holding out his hand. "Lekki Stop!" He shouted as a boy was stopped in mid air. Kamen held him there, closing his eyes. That could have been close. "It's just me.... and a few friends." He dropped the boy who landed hard. Hold your horses, brothers, this ones harmless. He's a friend.... and a child. He warned softly.
The boy stood shakily and glared at them all through long locks of green hair. Flaming green eyes narrowed at the sight of Yazoo, Kadaj and Loz... but grew when they saw Kamen. A green energy faded in the room as some objects dropped. "A-anai??" He stammered.
Kamen smiled, hoping the others would relax some. "I'm back brother...." He got a more serious tone. "And where is he hiding?" He spoke to the boy who got a nervous look.... Kamen knew that look just by the sight of Lekki's black eye....

Loz looked a little bit incredulous as he parroted Lekki's name for Kamen. "Anai?"
Yazoo lowered his gun slightly but did not holser it... this boy looked harmless but he could have easily been a decoy... "Some of the most dangerous people I have ever known have been children," he replied aloud.
Kadaj, meanwhile, looked around impatiently. "Oh, come on, this is insulting... only ONE guard, and that a young boy. Some terrifying crime lord, this Vikktor person... he's not even trying at ALL. Where is this creep, anyway?" He got off his cycle, brandishing the Souba... "Come out, come out, wherever you are..."
"Kadaj..." Yazoo began wearily, but he was cut off by a slight pang.
Don't tell me this is some kind of obscure plan, Loz insisted.
One way or another it should draw him out. Just stay on your toes.
On second thought, maybe you should have told me it was an obscure plan. That would have made me feel better.

Kamen watched them before looking to Lekki. "You're free. Go back home..." He saw the boy's look before continuing. "Fine..." He looked around before looking back at the others. Give it a few minutes... he knows we're here. Like I said. Security is weak... no one has ever gone against him like this... he has no other enemies. G0d I hope I'm right about this....
The little green haired boy stared at them before biting his lip and wiping his eyes. He backed himself into a corner and hid... but not really from them.
After a few minutes there were a few noises up stairs. A door opening and shutting and then light even foot steps....

Kadaj went rigid... he assumed an attack stance, waiting for this Vikktor person to make his appearance. I'll give him five seconds to show his miserable face, and if he doesn't appear by then... I'll bring the fight to him. Beating around the bush isn't my style.
Yazoo sighed with exasperation. Sometimes, Kadaj, you can be brilliant... but at other times, when your impulses take over... those are the times I wonder if you have the common sense given to the average chocobo. Despite his misgivings, he fell into formation behind him, and Loz followed suit... the three faced in different directions, with Kadaj focused on the area from whence cam the footsteps, the others covering him in case Vikktor got any funny ideas about extra guards or troopers... they moved to stay near Kamen. "We all go together," Yazoo explained.
"Together we play," the other two completed in unison.

Kamen was too much in shock and too scared to hear or see them as he watched a shadow move across the hall and onto an indoor balcony above and in front of them. Long wide stairs went up to the platform.
A tall, slim figure came out through the left hall. His hair was mid length and dark red, his clothes similar in theme. Vikktor walked slowly before turning to face them. A sadistic smirk played across thin lips as dark eyes watched them. "Glad to see you could make it... you're just on time." He looked directly at Kamen, only seeing the difference. The shields too strong to deal with at the time. "I'm terribly sorry I could not greet you at the door... but it seems that will not be a problem again." He chuckled dryly, seeing the destroyed door.
Kamen trembled slightly but kept everything from him. It was more psychological then physical. He may have the strength... but Vikktor still scared the sh1t out of him....

Kadaj tilted his head, his eyes narrowing as a nasty grin spread across his face. "Why aren't you frightened yet? You should be scared to death of us... have you really no idea who we are?" On the side of good we may be... but nevertheless, I still will not think twice of grinding your vampiric a** into the ground. "This boy is one of us now. And we have a certain reputation to uphold... when it comes to protecting one of our own." You'll not have him... him, or any other survivor of the wars. You'll take him back over my stone cold corpse. The ancient blood-grounded instincts were claiming their firm grasp in the Remnant's soul... this was his role, that of the Inferior-- to defend all the members of his tribe, both small and great, to the death.
Loz moved forward. "You look like a gamer... what say we play for him?"
Yazoo silently edged closer to Kamen. We have your back, brother... against us all he cannot stand.

Vikktor chuckled and shook his head, leaning on the railing a bit. "Dear boy, fear is for the weak..." He shot a glance to the quivering boy in the back. The blond bolted off down a corridor. Cold black eyes looked back at the four. "That is one of you, now? Oh... do I feel sorry for you, but if you think you must protect the boy... feel free." He smirked. "I will make no move to stop you." I will hold you to your word, little one. For the power of words is stronger then any other...
Kamen had calmed enough to reply back, his eyes still glued to his former master. I know, brother. I worry now for the lives of those in my position... we have to kill him. Fast. He sounded almost desperate, not going into detail on what he meant....

Kadaj stepped forward, leveling his sword at the slave driver who stood in his eyes. "Come get him," he hissed.

Kamen watched Kadaj nervously as the older boy challenged the one he feared most.
Vikktor chuckled before jumping off the balcony and landing 15 feet from Kadaj. He raised sword from behind his dark robes and held it pointing out to his side. He remained still, his eyes set on Kadaj. He was studying him, Kamen knew this.
A younger Kamen raised his sword with shaky and tired hands. He panted as he raised his eyes to see his master smirking wide. "How...?!?"
"Your form was weak, little one." He nodded his head a bit before ordering the boy back into stance.
"You cheated! Thats how you win, master!" His voice was more whiny then. He had no self control and restraint on his once favored emotions.... so different then the Kamen now.
The older man laughed in his own cold tone. "You guessed correctly, my little trouble maker. Your insight is getting better.... but now is not the time to be questioning motives." He raised his sword and lunged, Kamen blocked weakly and jumped away, anger burning in his eyes.
This pattern repeated over and over before Kamen was worn to the point of passing out. Vikktor picked the boy up and set him on his feet again. "Come now little one... we must get it right. If you are to ever beat me you must remember your form and self control. Otherwise my words will get to your heart...."
Kamen bit his lip. It had been many years since his master was so kind.... but back then he was an apprentice, not a servant of his evil deeds. But his words always stayed with him....

Kadaj was drawing a few conclusions of his own. Overconfident, arrogant, but not without foundation... clearly a skilled combatant, through years of work and experience, rather than by genetic tampering. But I didn't get where I am today by being a slouch, either-- talent means nothing without work behind it.
Three plans formed immediately and the dilemma became which one to employ.
First plan: Take him now while he's leaving himself open and rely on his unnatural speed to carry the fight, allowing the others to protect Kamen. Reckless, but feasible.
Second plan: Coordinate all four of us in a concerted attack. Shrewd, but dull. And it leaves Kamen wide open.
Third plan: Allow the boy to fight his own battles and back him up if he gets into trouble. Character-building, but not practical.
Second plan. I need more time to observe this tyrant before taking him alone. Sigh... boring.
He called to the others, transmitting at staccato pace. I'll rush him first as a distraction. Yazoo, I'll need creepers from behind to keep him busy while you and Loz take variably opposing positions at nine and two-thirteen. Fire as you close but not at full blast, not until Loz gets a hit in. Then track with him. From there we improvise.
Kamen... you're with me. Follow my lead and stay tight. Try to work on the mental attack as we close-- but don't commit too far. Test his resistance. Here's hoping you remembered to bring a weapon. You'll see my moves coming, so try to complement them. Most of all, be careful.
He sprang forward, charging and setting the attack in motion...
