Appearance : Many of them wear robes or relics. The more golden chains they wear about their necks, the more practiced in the dark magic of Jenova they are. Mostly human, a few other nonhuman personalities are among them. There are about fifty of them.
Personality : These zealots are fiercely loyal to their chosen deity- Jenova. They believe in her coming, in the idea that her "cleansing" of the planet is good, and in a certain lie- that if they contribute to her cause, she will let them live. It is an extremely exclusivist and secretive cult, very hostile to anyone who show animosity towards them. Few of them are good fighters, but many of them are wizards of some substantial power.
Weapon : Mostly Jenova's dark magic, different kinds of materia, a few melee weapons, etc.

History : Not too much is known about the Cult of Jenova. It was started some time after Shin-ra's Jenova Project was terminated. These faithul followers kept some of the experiments alive, using Shin-ra's bureaucracy against them. They all follow a single rule in dealing with the outside world: anybody who discovered them or their hideout was destroyed.
They come from several walks of life, entering the Abandoned Mythrill Mines through a back entrance that is uninhabited by monsters. They put up an enormous door to the rest of the mines, sealing it off so that the enormous dragon could not enter.. and ensuring that any who tried to find them through the front of the cave could not make it in.
