Full Name: Xima (or Dark Amnesty)
Status: NPC villain, a major boss and Ami's archenemy.
Age: About a week
Species: Pure Sephiroth clone
Hair Colour: Silver
Eye Colour: Cat-slit mako green
Height: An inch taller than Ami
Weight: Her higher muscle mass makes her weigh several pounds more than her counterpart.
Appearance: Her hair, always left hanging, is long and straight, nearly touching the ground. She wears nothing but black leather and chrome from head to toe: a black leather jumpsuit with a long, narrow neckline that goes right between her breasts with chains and straps attached in sundry places; thick black combat boots; and a black leather trenchcoat.
Personality: Absolutely evil, twisted, manipulative, conniving. There is not a trace of goodness, love, or mercy anywhere on her person. She would spill her own mother's guts to further her own interests... if her mother wasn't currently petrified atop the ruins of the Mythril Mines.
Weapon: The Evil Twin, a near-replica of the Masamune (the blade is only a few inches shorter to accomodate her height).
Materia: Fire, Mako blast
History: As he lay dying, Axel confessed to his hand in creating this abomination: Spying on Reno in hopes of stealing his life for his own, he witnessed the apparent destruction of Jenova. Jenova, with her final thoughts, reached to him, claiming that if he could intercept Ami's sacrificed Jenova cells, he could use them to achieve his goal. Axel complied, gathering the cells before they could reach her and be sealed in stone with her.
He brought them back to his base, the Netherworld. Reconstituting the cells into a single female entity, he named it Xima. The clone, already matching Amnesty in age and maturity at creation, was at first Axel's puppet... but soon, she took over amongst the inhabitants of the Netherworld and became HIS master. Nothing less than a young female Sephiroth in the flesh, she took no orders and no b**ls**t from anyone. Still, in order to maintain her manipulation over Axel, Xima insisted she was still interested in finding a way to fuse him with Reno, his "otherworld twin", so Axel might have a hope of surviving beyond the shelf-life of the faint energy streak he had stolen wherewith to sustain himself. Furthermore, she fed his fantasies of finally having a heart... and a life... of his own, so that he might bring her back to Advent to exact revenge upon her former host.
When he did so, she learned by her powerful telepathic abilities that a new defender of the planet was reluctantly but quickly coming into his own... none other than Reno himself. She gave Axel a plan that would strip him of the Lifestream's power and leave him defenseless... a plan that, had it succeeded, would have cemented Axel's loyalty to her and gotten Reno quickly and cleanly out of her way.
Things did NOT go as planned, however. Axel revealed Xima too soon to Nikky, whom he developed feelings for despite his lack of a heart. Xima emerged to punish Axel and kill Nikky... but Reno arrived just in time to turn the battle. Xima was temporarily diverted from her goal of freeing Jenova by his intervation... but in the process, Axel fell to the blade of the Evil Twin.
Now, there is no telling where Xima has gone... or what she plans next... but doubtlessly, she will soon be forced to confront her Other... for she has no intention of stopping until she claims every world she can get her hands on in the name of her "Mother".
