Ami's mouth tightened. "Except me, perhaps." She heaved Vi onto her shoulders and looked Lutz dead in the eye. "I'm like you, Lutz. I'm one of their experiments. And I'm trying very, very hard to be good." She carried Vi up the Ragnorak's ramp. "It's not always easy, but I am trying. I've learned where they're hiding the last of Jenova's remains, and I'm going now to destroy them, once and for all."

Vieve's hand had dropped off of her torso and onto Lutz' arm as Ami moved her. Her hand tightened around his wrist and her brow wrinkled in sadness, her eyes still closed. A tear slipped down her face and a small moan escaped her lips as Ami heaved her onto her shoulders...

Ami looked at Lutz, her eyes flashing with the intensity of that first memory, broadcasted into her mind. "I'll need all the help I can get. Birth from a test tube is no way to begin life..." She looked back at Squall and smiled. "But it doesn't have to determine what happens in that life." She looked back at Lutz. "You're welcome to come help us. If Jenova is going to react to my presence with half the force I think she will, we'll need you."

Kidd had been in the shadows awhile. As thoughts raced through his mind he pondered one thing, how to stop Jenova. He came to the ship just as the group boarded. He watched as they were ready for what could be the final battle. He was avoiding his true question though, was he ready? He followed them into the ship and began to walk to the brig. "Umm... who knows how to control this thing?"

Ami shrugged. "Don't ask me. I'm just the captain's girlfriend." She smiled and gave Squall a wink.
She unloaded Vieve into the holding cell and tied her down with metal chains, securely as possible. "Sorry, Vi. But you have too much Template in you to be trusted."
She hated to think what would happen in Vi's mind when she woke. She reemerged and locked the door tight behind her. "Let's get this bucket off the ground."

"Kidd, you're a poet and ya don't know it." Ami gave him the first real smile she'd ever shown him. Maybe you aren't so bad, after all. "Onward indeed."
She went to Squall. "Let me tell you where she's hidden." She lowered her voice so there would be no chance of Vieve or any other unloyal faction overhearing. She gathered the others around. "The abandoned Mythril Mines. A bunch of nutjobs formed a cult around her and used Shinra's bureaucracy against them. Hidden under a mountain of paperwork, they crafted a hidden place to hide her and an invention they concieved, specifically designed to bring about Reunion-- a genetic splicer. Those same nutjobs are the ones who hid my brother's clones in Sector Seven, in the old Shinra labs where they were born. It wasn't an automatic system like I thought at first, keeping them alive... the cult had been maintaining them, keeping them there for the day they intended to bring Jenova back to life. They aren't satisfied with any Kadaj or Sephiroth-- they want the Calamity herself in her full glory. Of course, with the clones destroyed, it won't be long until they realize someone's onto them. So we have to move, now-- before they claim someone to splice her cells with. They've been waiting for a female specimen, so they could infuse it with the fullness of her power. That's why I had to lock up Vieve-- if she'd gotten there ahead of us, it would have been too late. We have one chance to end this forever. If we fail, this whole mess starts over again. And further-- when we do end her, we must find a way to keep her from re-entering the Lifestream, or risk another Geostigma outbreak."

Kidd nodded in agreement. He ran over all the information. "We need Squall to take care of navigation. If they catch on to us and attack someone will need to hold them off." Kidd walked to the door and waited. "If they get near I'll exit and fight. Ami, if I fail I'm counting on you to protect Vieve." "So you want mother dead. You'll never win." Thats what you think.

Reno and Rude's car streaked towards the Ragnorak. "Get a move on, pard... they're getting away!" Reno prompted.
"I've got it wide open!" Rude roared, gunning the engine.
Reno took another look at the Final Blade. What exactly is this thing... and why is it so important? It's just a sword, and not the most impressive one I've ever seen, either. (Cloud's sword, now that one was kick-a**. Cloud may have been a pain in the neck, but at least the guy had good taste in weapons. I have to give him that.)
More to the point... why did that creepy kid back there give it to ME?

nikky was apparently sleeping in the car. it was probably the most sleep she had gotten in a very long time. she mumbled slightly in her sleep but remained where ever she was. still fairly drunk if not hung over.
