Lutz awoke from his deep sleep on the ship and turned his head to see what was going on.
Holy Sh*t!
Lutz jumped out of his chair to join Squall and Ami.
Dashing over he launches a fire ball at the twisted Akira.
Lutz: "What the hell happened to Akira!?"

" I dont know!" Squall grunted, still unsure exactly why it was that Akira was attacking them. Wonder if it was that Raja guy? Or a seventh sin?! Christ so much going on! Squall swung some more attacks towards Akira, making sure not to get toasted by any fire balls, this is useless!... "Guys... go take a seat!"

Lutz did a flaming round house kick (like Chuck Norris) and put Akira on his back. Lutz dashed over to the nearest char and buckled himself in. Lutz: "Squall you know what your doing!  " |

Squall stepped infront of the others, toe to toe with Akira. " SIT DOWN AND BUCKLE UP!" Squall strafed Akira whilst trading blows, Now all i gotta do is shoot this thing into space and hell get sucked out! Squall looked carefully from Akira to the control pannel. Right there sat down, here goes...Wait for it... *Parries blow* NOW! Squall quickly took a hand off his gunblade and punched Akira in the nose then ran and dived at the control panel, gotcha! Squall tapped a button on the control pannel and the ship flew straight up into the sky, sending Squall crashing down onto Lutz. Sorry!

Akira leapt after squall, narrowly missing his ankles, " DAMMIT!" Akira screamed at him, the ragnorak flew though the atmosphere into space, a huge whooshing sound could be heard as the air left the ship and Akira flew out with a pleasing little pop. *Grabs a hold of Lutz* Sorry again! " Hold your breath!" Squall shouted before taking in a deep breath, hurry up and turn round!

Squall turned and looked at Lutz, Dense muscle you see... heh Squall winked at him and sat tight looking out into space. Sure is pretty!... Hurry up! Suddenly the Ragnorak engines roared into life and the Ragnorak started to turn, Yeah baby! Squall continued looking out of the window and smiled as he saw the planet come back into view and come towards them. Homeward bound! ... Hey whats that?! Squall squinted out of the window... Jesus! Akira came floating steadily towards them, * horrible thud* ouch! *limp body flies back down to the planet...* ... What happened to him?"

Ami buckled herself into the nearest seat as the Ragnorak slipped the surly bonds of Earth. The boost of speed might have been thrilling at any other time, but right now she was too busy thinking. The anger she'd felt from Akira was overwhelming. She'd only felt so much anger before in one place-- when she was fighting Jin'Roh.
"He's one of them now," she realized as they headed back towards the atmosphere. "People are just double-crossing us left and right lately."

Squall bit his lip and thought, Was he pretending when he first met us? No... Something happened to him... " i dont think it was his choice?" Squall looked across at Ami, hope me sitting on the wolf guy doesnt lower your opinion of me? Squall pulled himself towards his seat and leveled the ship out... " We still headed towards the mines?"

"Yeah, the mines and on the double. I've never been there myself-- all I have to go on are those records I found in the research library. We better tread carefully until we're sure what to expect."

" Full speed ahead!" Squall floored the ship, a massive explosion rocking the hills as they flew, " SONIC BOOOOOM!" Squall thought back to the library and the 2 tubes hed seen at the back, lets get out of here... Wonder whos tube that was? Squall shrugged his shoulders and continued to head towards the mines, " its a bit windy!" Squall shouted over the roar of the wind, If Akira survived that ill kill him for trashing my ship!

Reno looked at Rude, who shrugged. "That seems to be the million dollar question," Reno replied. "I'd say they headed northeast-- what's notheast?"
Rude stared in the direction the Ragnorak had gone. "Kalm would be the nearest town in that direction, but I doubt there's anything there they would be interested in."
Reno thought that over. Hmm... what's in Kalm? It's a little country village, that's about it.
"It all beats the h**l outta me, partner. Maybe we should put in a call to Central." He looked back at Nikkole apologetically. "So much for an easy assignment, eh?"
Rude was already on his cell. "I have them combing the Shinra database," he explained. "They aren't turning up anything unexpected-- the mythril-based economy that failed after the area was attacked by monsters, etcetera."
"Is that it? The biggest, most elaborate database in the world-- one that outlived the company that formed it-- and that's all it has?"
"Wait. A minor note: a genetics splicing study was set up in one of the less profitable caverns, due to the potential hazards inherent in the development of the procedure. The location had to be remote in case a nuclear fusion reaction was accidentally generated--" He noticed Reno staring at him. "What?"

Rude began to get it. "I see..."
"Kalm Town it is." He turned to his new acquaintence and effected casualness, even though the idea of finally bringing this Vieve character in was making his pulse accelerate to two and a half times its normal rate.
