"Transportation... I usually just run. But I understand if you're not fast enough." Dark Blood picked up his other halfs body, and awaited her reply.

She gritted her teeth quietly... she hated it when anyone implied her inadequacy in any form, whether intentionally or not.
She forced herself to smile sweetly. "Let us see whether or not I can match your pace, young man... then we'll decide who can't keep up with whom."
Little did she realize there was more than naked pride backing up her suggestion... the vial had granted her certain abilities...

Dark Blood grinned as he threw Blood over his shoulder, he took off in the direction that Jared had gone.

Sarai took a moment to blink in surprise. D**n... he really is fast.
She steeled herself to at least pour on the speed long enough to intercept him and ask him to slow down...
She began to run, and suddenly the world blurred.
In absolute shock, Sarai stopped herself, a bit too fast... fast enough that she tripped over her own feet and went tumbling. She finally skidded to a stop, a few yards AHEAD of Blood. For a moment, she lay there in a daze. Good G**...
Her thoughts traveled backwards. That vial... it really wasn't a dream, was it?

Walking towards her, Dark Blood face palmed himself. "Don't you know how to run?" She was fast, but she was clumsy. Dark Blood looked ahead. They're a few miles south now, lets go. Reaching down to help Sarai up, Dark Blood prepared himself to run again.

Sarai stood, shoving Dark Blood away. "I am perfectly capable of standing upright under my own power, thank you VERY much."
She glanced down at herself as she brushed still more mud from her now filthy uniform. I was NEVER able to run anywhere NEAR that fast before.
Whatever those filthy... She paused and shuddered. ... Whatever those creatures gave me must have affected me somehow.
She glared at Dark Blood again. "And furthermore, I am well able to run, I'd dare say, just as well as you can-- if not better."
She planted her feet firmly. "South, you say?"
She braced herself and started moving full steam ahead, far faster than she had ever known an organic being could. Now that the initial shock had worn off... she was starting to enjoy this.
I wonder how else I have changed...
She smirked. Let's see how you cope with me now, Tseng. Your days of outshining me are over.

Dark Blood took off after her. Lagging behind slightly but still keeping up with Blood over his shoulder he wondered why she was so fast. And also why it came as a shock to her. Looking up, Dark Blood something strange for a moment, but then kept on moving.

Sarai inhaled deeply... and realized she was picking up on Tseng's scent. Vaguely, she had always registered the smell of his aftershave, but now it was so strong that she felt like it was punching her in the face... and he had left the area over half an hour ago.
She forgot about Dark Blood's advice began to follow the smell. Whether he has the marks now or not, I don't care. He'll get what's coming to him...
