Ami charged, fire churning through her guts. "You and our 'mother' stole my brothers away, twisted their minds... and when they weren't good enough..." She shot into the air and brought her sword high, swinging it down at her enemy's neck. "You abandoned them to die! Give me one good reason why I would EVER THINK of joining you!"

Sephiroth swung the Masamune into a quick defensive stance, the clash of their blades causing a charred mark on hers. He leaned in over their blades, the flames coming off of his body becoing increasingly hot as he moved in closer to her. He looked her in the eyes. "Because you ARE me." He gave a quick and strong thrust of his blade, pushing her away from him jarringly and jutting his blade towards her in a stabbing stroke...

Ami bent backwards, narrowly escaping the flaming blade. It still managed to scathe her upper leg, but she adjusted her grip on the sword and sprang back up nonetheless, thrusting her blade squarely at his ribcage.
"YOU ARE NO PART OF ME!"

Lutz casted a Fire Shield around Ami
Lutz: "There that should help you out a bit...."
Then a few Cults members appeared and started attacking Lutz. He turned to them and started fighting them will all he had.
Lutz: "I will handle these guys if you need my help just yell!"

Sephiroth brought his sword down on top of Ami's, effectively blocking it downward, the force of it nearly knocking it out of her hand... but not quite. "Don't worry, Wolfman. You've helped me out enough." He leapt over her sword, aiming a solid kick for her jaw. "And despite popular belief, you can't fight fire with fire."

Ami leapt sideways, managing to avoid contact with that speeding foot, but losing her grip on the blade. Oh, S**T! She yanked her remaining pistol and fired as she threw herself into a power slide for the Final Blade. She snagged it and threw up a block as she jumped back to her feet, shoving the pistol back into its holster. She came around with an arc at Sephiroth's back, clipping off a stand of his hair. "You know the only thing I wonder how you do it?" Ami asked mockingly.

Sephiroth threw up a hand to block the acid bullet, and it exploded on contact with his hand, the acid sizzling and boiling to nothing but fumes in the fire. He chuckled at her attempt- until her blade sliced his hair, causing it to drop off and flicker before it hit the ground. He growled, charging her. "And here comes the sizzlingly clever insult that's meant to make me lose my mind, am I right?" He faked her out with a slash from the left and dropped to the ground, slicing towards her hamstrings as he rolled past her right.

Ami dodged, but still recieved a cut on her right leg. She whipped around and brought the sword down towards him in a charge matching the ferocity of a cornered animal. "All I wonder is, how is it you walk through burning villages with all that long hair of yours-- without catching on fire? Oh, wait... looks like you did after all. Never mind."

He charged a blast of fire to block her charge, then rolled out from behind it, to the side, taking a clip of her hair as he passed her. "You disappoint me. That wasn't even clever." He lunged for her back. "Maybe you're not taking after me as much as I thought you were."

Ami leapt forward and away from the sword coming at her back, landing on a stalagmite. She sprang off it towards the roof of the cave, disintegrating the formation in her wake. "That's probably one of the nicest things anybody has ever said to me in my life," she quipped, grabbing a particularly long stalactite, swinging around it, and aiming herself sword first at Sephiroth as she shot towards him like a missile.

Reno continued to mow down cultist after cultist. Some of them got back up, some didn't. Some charged him in blind fury, others tried using materia. Between him, Rude, and Nikky, the odds seemed to be tipping in their favor. Apparently, fighting skills aren't a prerequisite for membership in the Church of the Calamity. "A classic bit of advice: Forget your little Reunion and get a grip!" It's even more fun to say the second time.
He glanced over at Nikky and observed the pleasure she derived from this outrageously outmatched brawl. That settles it. I wanna marry this girl!

nikky ducked down and jumped up, slashing through two guyss throats with her knifes. she flung another, hitting a guy in the shoulder. she grinned slightly.

Sephiroth stood for a moment, then sidestepped her charge at the last moment, grabbing her ankle just before she hit the ground and swinging her into the wall.

Ami put her free limbs out to absorb the impact and she landed on the wall harmlessly. She pushed off like a coiled spring, launched herself and her Template backwards into an array of stalagmites, which crumbled as they shot through them.
She picked herself up out of the rubble and leaped away from her assailant, dust flying from her clothes. She landed and turned in a single motion, holding up her sword in a block position, anticipating his next move.
