"That's... disturbing." Kidd began to anxiously pace back and forth. "All I know is, we need to stick together. It's been our bonds with each other that have helped us overcome our enemies. We must make sure they never get the chance to seperate us." Kidd raised his fist in the air looking around. He lowered it slowly and put it at his side. "Over reaction." Kamryn chuckled.

Reno thought back to a few hours earlier, and the meeting with his mother... "I think maybe I do." He smiled. "What are soulmates for, anyway?"

"This creep, who- or whatever he is, lit out of here when I sicced our older brothers on him," Ami elaborated further. "But I got more than a feeling he'll be back... and it won't be much longer..." I shoulda got some silver materia when I was in town. Inspiration! "Kidd, you have any materia on you?"

Ami dug into the bag. A grin started spreading across her face... "THis is good..." She pulled out one silver materia. "Very, VERY good!" She pulled out two more. "I should only need one for now... This is gonna be rich. Just you wait till you see this, Kidd... you're gonna be blown away." She grinned at him. "I've never used this stuff before... any tips?"

Ami beamed. "Thanks!"
She sank the silver materia into her left arm. "And don't worry about any ranged effects..." She watched her wrist and hand begin to glow silver and her smile widened. "I know exactly what effect I want these to have."
Her family resemblance was gone, but the trademark crazy smile... the one that had a tendency to send sane men scampering into the trees... that was still alive and well, and she was wearing it as she thought of what this materia would be used for.

Kidd heard the men and turned around slowly. "We were waiting." Kidd took out his swords and stood ready. Kamryn drew her whips with her guns attatched to them. "Hey guys! It's time to do what we do best." "Kick some evil @$$"

Ami was on guard immediately, and her left arm began to pulse. Not yet... "Heads up, people!"
Rude and Reno turned to observe the oncoming crowd. Reno immediately began bristling.
"Down, boy," Rude cautioned. He motioned for the others to make formation around Nikky.
Ami moved into position, as did Reno. "What, you're back? I don't believe it, my very own masochist!" Ami hooted insinuously. "I'd think being soundly thrashed once in a night would be enough for you to get off, but apparently a girl's gotta work overtime for a man like you." She threw in a little pelvic thrust for good measure.
Reno laughed mockingly in encouragement.

nikky sighed and stepped back a few steps. she'd wait to make her move.... what she knew how to do... would deff. shock them. she stiffled a laugh at the comment.
no one commented on that, they came forward silently.
kamen's goonies halted and waited. no one voiced comands, they all looked the same with their cloaks and hoods. they drew guns and swords as they then charged in. all of them did.
nikky started to think kamen wasn't even there.... it was hard to tell.

Kidd went to the left as Kamryn went to the right. They both stood their ground. "Orders commander Ami!"

Ami smiled. "Orders are... take out the emo punks and protect the girl. I'll leave the rest to your imagination." She inhaled deeply as the first combatant approached her. "GAME ON!" she roared.
She lunged forward, both blades flashing. "Don't mess a woman who's going throught THAT TIME OF THE MONTH, B*Y***H!" A couple of goons suddenly found themselves bearing a startling resemblance to Marie Antoinette...
Reno activated the electronic ram. It should be easy enough to find Kamen in this mob... keep shooting and the first one who doesn't fall is him.
Reno held his ground, but fought as wildly as the confines of his post would allow. "Teach you for messing around with my girl," he growled. Ami's acid pistols were coming in mighty handy... but he still preferred melee to sharpshooting anytime.

they fought more efficiently this time, helping each other and being mo0re brutal. one lead the others to attack ami. another stood and watched but was shot down and fell....
nikky bit her lip. ''this can't be good.... they all look the same.''

Kidd ran staight into the group jumping a minute later as bodies scattered around him. "I cant find him!" Kamryn whipped three to the ground and fired ice bulllets staight into each of their chest. Kidd landed and dashed back out.
