kamen, being desensitized to these things kept on walking. he tried out a few things to test his strength in magic. he was weak... very weak. he sighed and hung his head, letting the rock drop.
nikky looked around warily as she clung to reno. she felt strange as she walked.

Ami looked around carefully, trying to be casual so as not to disturb her family. "It was just a villager... why are you still looking around like the Four Horsemen are about to attack?" Ami asked Dimitri sweetly, in case they were listening.

Reno smiled. "I'll take that as a compliment..."
The itch became a sharp sting, and an image flashed into his head. Something practically flying right at them... An arm hurling a bundle of staffs from the trees...
He whirled around and whipped out his EMR as a cloud of staffs flew at him and the rest of the party. A black-coated figure emerged from the forest and grabbed one of the staffs, rushing Reno.
Reno swung at two of the weapons headed for Nikky and knocked them aside. "Nikky, run!" Rude moved in to cover him and Nikky with the Sacrifice as Reno charged this bizarre figure...
He got close enough to see the attackers's face and nearly froze in his tracks.
Oh, my G**...
The figure grinned. "Fancy meeting you here... Other..."
Reno regained his composure and swung at the onrushing enemy with a wild battle cry. Their rods clashed...
Ami moved in to protect her family, slashing at any staffs that got too close with her Dragon's Teeth... "They're everywhere! Guys, back me up!"

Flashes of the old war between the Maloki and the Ancients ran through Lutz's head, the 7 Deadly Sins in their human form as they kill hundreds of his kind. It was all so real to him it was like he was there. "aaaaaahhhhhh" Jin'Roh yelled as he slash another head off his victom. the armies of the Ancients rushed into the Maloki camp burning it to the ground with torches and killing unarmed Maloki. Lutz walked into his dream as if he was not there but could see it all happening, then out of one of the huts was Raja himself, sword in hand and was ready for battle, he female Maloki ran over to him begging him not to fight and to just run. "This war is about pointless power Jotta! they arenot worthy of the planets blessing!" Raja dashed away from the female Maloki, she fell to her knees crying and behind her stood Jin'roh. He grinned as he held his axe. then all that could be heard was to screams of her. Raja looked back to see what had happened, he was washed in sorrow, Raja cryed out "Sinners!!!! why!?....no...." Raja then tryed speaking out to the planet for help something no Maloki was able to do. He grabbed his sword and cut his hand spilling his blood on the ground, "I am yours to command" the drops of blood glow red and turned green, a burst of life stream energy lifted from the bloody spot and out rose a magical Scythe. A voice entered Rajas head. "you...must fight these sinners with a curse..." Raja grabbed the Scythe entered a berserking rage slashing all his enemies, alone he defeated all his foes, it came down to him and Lucifer. "Raja we can talk about this...." spoke Lucifer, "NO! you sinners shall forever serve the life stream killing off other sinners as you are!" Raja dashed at Lucifer with great speed slashing him in the chest. Lucifer yelled out in pain and his soul was sucked into the Scythe. Raja breathed in deep. then a bright light shined behind him, it was so bright he could not see the figure infront of him, "Well done Raja, those sinners will pay for what they have done and be transformed into twisted demons that they are, and as you wished apon cursing them with the eternal bond with the life stream..." Raja looked at the figure with a confused look. "Oh me? Raja no need to worry I am a being from the life stream....thank you for what you did this day...." the light slowly faded and was gone only leaveing a single feather floating down but Raja's foot. Lutz watched it all happen, the forming of the 7 deadly sins and who Raja really was, Lutz kind felt bad for Raja...
He really wasn't much of a villian all he wanted was to do the right thing, buthe was misunderstood....wait what has happened to Raja now? last thing I remember he was worried about being double crossed and was sucked into the Scythe...that Scythe.... The more Lutz thought about he knew something else was going on, how was the Sins able to kill non-sinners, and if the life stream created them why is the life stream doing nothing? The Lutz remembered something the Sin of Envy said once he was in his human form, something about a being in the life stream that was evil....an evil being within the life stream....what is going on around here? a flash of light entered Lutz's head and he snapped out of it, out of the dream....
Lutz: "uuhhhh I must have been sleeping for sometime...."
Wonder where everyone went.
Lutz dashed out of the ship into this unknown land.

Dimitri was off the ground in a flash, he unclipped the latches on his guitar case and flung it into the air, three spears became lodged in it and his gunblade toppled out, which he caught in mid-air and immediately began laying down covering fire for Reno to get a second to defend himself as well as Nikky and the others.

kamen's shield went up defensively. it faltered slightly as he helped ami as best he could.
nikky ran but then stopped, she scowled and turned around. she ran over and helped ami, knowing that reno would flip out if he saw her still there.

Lutz walked off into the wild he got down on all fours and snifted the ground. He caught the sent of Ami. Lutz ran as fast as he could to find her.

"So, what do I call you?" The dark warrior seemed rather amused by the chaos he had created. "Just want to know what to call the life I'm about to steal..."
"FYI, the name is Reno..." He swung hard at the attacker's head. "But if you think you're gonna kill me, you got another thing coming, yo."
The warrior took the hit to the side of his face and sustained a small cut on his forehead. He came back around, dealing a blow that matched it exactly with a twisted grin.
"Why would I want to kill you... What sort of life could I live if we were already dead?" He swung the staff at Reno's leg.
Reno caught it. "We?"
The warrior's grin grew larger. "Just call me Axel... for now."
He pulled back the staff and tried to bring it down on Reno's crown...

Ami was hard-pressed to keep her family unharmed. Lana, stir-crazy as ever, tried to smack one of the staffs with her overnight bag...
Stephen, drawing on his magistration days, dealt out a few judo kicks to the approaching weapons, deflecting them away from his wife and daughters...

Dimitri launched himself through the air and slammed his gunblade into the staff, chopping the tip off and it sailed harmlessly over Reno's head. Dimitri then flipped and landed in a crouch, firing off a few more rounds at this "Axel" character...

Reno stepped back instinctively as Dimitri landed in front of him and noticed a flash of green out of the corner of his eye. Oy, Nikky...
Axel dodged Dimitri's shots and caught a glance at Nikky. "Well, look what I get coming into the bargain... seems my Other knows how to get around."
Reno saw red, and that doesn't mean his hair got in his face. Trash talk me all you want... but nobody talks about my girl.
Reno went berserk, but somehow Axel matched him, blow for blow. "I don't think you get it, man... you and me, we can't beat each other... We're equal and opposite. It's like day and night trying to fight each other... neither one can ever win."
Reno tried a sweeper kick at Axel's legs. "WANNA BET?!"
Rude fired a blast at this attacker from the Sacrifice... "D**n punk."

Dimitri took to the air again, swiping through a few more staffs to help the others stay safe. He knew Reno could hold his own, so he mainly kept himself positioned in between the others and Axel.

Lutz finally managed to catch up to Ami, running so fast he left flaming paws prints in the ground. he jumped over to her and landed swiftly by her side.
Lutz: "what I miss!?"

Ami grinned. "Hey, Lutz... welcome back to the land of the living." SHe slashed another staff in half. "I'll fill you in on the details later!"
Axel could tell this battle was not going his way. His Other had way too many reinforcements. "Ten-plus on one... not quite fair, do you think?"
He decided he'd let this battle play out, just to gauge these people's strengths and weaknesses... all the better to plan his attacks later... when Reno had fewer friends around to help him.
As Reno's ferocity increased, he had to grin to himself. "Looks like somebody hit a nerve... What's the matter, Reno, you jealous?"
He jumped over the leg sweep, but got hit square in the side by the energy charge. "ARGH!" He stumbled to the side, Rude advancing on him. He snagged another staff, spun it around in his hand for a better grip, and started dueling both former Turks at once, knocking the rifle out of Rude's hand...
Reno aimed high at his doppleganger's head. This is too bizarre... Axel dipped under that blow easily, but did not so easily dodge Rude's fist coming at his gut...

Ami realized the staffs were not being quite so aggressive as earlier, but would not be lulled into false security... she splintered every one that got close. One of them swung in from behind and knocked her off her feet...

As Axel reeled from Rude's punch to the gut, Dimitri came up behind him and delivered a massive kick to the small of his back, he and Rude's strikes slammed him in two directions at once.

Oof... Axel felt that one. And to make matters worse, Reno was following that up with an EMR swing arcing up at his head. He bent backwards to avoid it and found himself hemmed in by his enemies.
"This was not well thought out," he commented. "But this little encounter has taught me a thing or two about you guys... ta-ta for now."
He made a move to slip away, calling his staffs back to him...
Ami and Reno were not about to let him get off that easy. "Cheeearrrrge!!!" Ami yelled, chasing after the fleeing figure.
