kamen nodded and closed his eyes as well. he forced himself out of his physical body and looked about. okay.... where should we start? he waited for ami before leaving the ship and looking about. i could be out all day but i can't because my body would be left vulnerable for too long.... lets make this as quick as we can. he smiled faintly.
nikky snuggled up to him and smiled. i hope they know what they're doing.... i hope kamen has thought this through.... leaving his body alone like that is risky...

She held onto Kamen's presence as tightly as possible. Kamen, don't forget, my ESP is nearly gone. Our bond is relatively weak, and you're the one sustaining the lion's share of it. As for where to start...

It isn't the Easter Bunny. We've had Axel tracking Xima's movements... she's still on the Western Continent, training her "son" to take on the work she has carved out for him. The Martyress has been watching Rufus, but it's been a while since we had a report from her.

I know... quite a person to have on our side, right? They weren't going to let her help, but she's one of the few who can slip in and out of the Medium Space...

Not directly. But we may be able to track Rufus down without her for now... Yazoo, go. Show them the way... start at Nibelheim. He will have left a psychic trail there. I'll stay here and cover you two in case of attack on your physical selves.

Ami's father, back inside the ship, watched her as she stood like a wax figure, holding Kamen's hands. He had seen her do things like this with her brothers... he touched her hand and pulled back in shock. She was freezing cold... but her eyes underneath her eyelids were still moving, darting back and forth...
Rude headed for the c0ckpit. "I'm setting the autopilot for Midgar. We can't lose any more time."
Stephen tried to stop him. "If you think I will allow you to drag my wife and daughters there, after all I have seen in my years as a magistrate--"
Rude shook him off. "I don't THINK I will. I know I will. Your family will be safest there, I can assure you." He resumed his course. "Especially if a few old acquaintences from the area will still be on our side..."
Stephen huffed. "This is... I'm sorry, but this is too much. I've been taking orders left and right around here..."
"No, you haven't. You're a civilian. Civilians don't follow orders... they employ guided survival." Rude gave him an imposing stare. "You are free to try protecting your family on your own, but I would not recommend it."
Stephen held his peace as Rude set the autopilot and the ship zoomed away.
((OK, what we do next is not so easy to tell... mrvillainman is logged off, so where Rufus is right now I'm not sure. The Ragnorak goes to Midgar... the spirits, I don't know.))

((alright... so do we just go after xima or just stop for the night?? cuz i can stay on for another hour or so... so like yeah. you want me just to follow your lead??))
