Cloud took the large sword and gave it a strange look. "Sorry, but... that isn't mine."
Ami blinked. "It's not?"
"No. Look over there." He nodded to the weapons check by the door. Cloud's Buster lay on it.
"You are right, they look almost exactly alike," he mused, shifting its grip in his good hand. "But I never lost mine. I've had it with me all the time."
He handed the sword back to Sin. "Here. If it's served you that well, you can keep it." He crossed to the table and picked up his own Buster. "I told myself it would be a while before I used this again. Promised Tifa and the kids I'd stay with them. But if they're in danger... looks like I have no choice."
"Cloud, you don't have to come with us," Ami protested. "We only came to warn you."
Cloud stared at his blade for a long, long moment. He set it down. "Amnesty, Midgar... or Edge or whatever they're calling it now... it isn't safe here anymore. Something is happening out there. Something bigger than Sephiroth or Patrans. It could be Shinra trying to bring itself back to life. It could be something else. But things have changed. People are scared. Strange things happen at night." He turned to the party. "Tifa, I wanted to find a better time to tell you. But I want to leave, and bring you and the kids with me."
"What?" Her was slack with disbelief. "No, Cloud. No. This is home. If someone wants it, we'll fight--"
"No, Tifa. There is no home for us. Ever since the fire, there never has been. And..." He glanced at Vincent and Ami. "I'm beginning to think that's OK."

Kidd looekd to Tifa and Cloud. "Your home could be by our side as I don't think any of us really have a home anymore. We've been out fighting for this world so long to tell you the truth I never thought about home until now. We..." Kidd stood aside and swept his arm toward everybody. "We... are one family now."

Sin nodded and stabbed into the ground. He lifted the sheath off of his back and moved it to his waist. He sheathed the sword and rested his hand of the hilt. He sighed and popped more of the pills.

Tifa was still shaking her head. "Cloud, I've had enough of all this. I was part of AVALANCHE to put an end to all this c**p. I worked my heart and soul into keeping this place afloat through everything. If you think I'm just going to sell now, throw in the towel because you've suddenly become paranoid, you're out of your mind!"
She ran upstairs before anyone could argue. Ami tried to follow. Cloud blocked her with the crutch. "Not now, Amnesty. She needs time."
Ami sighed and nodded. She headed over to the bar. "Can I get a drink?"
"Are you 21?"
"Umm..."
"Stick to the soda and I won't have a problem."
She headed for the tap. "Thirsty, boys?"
Cloud sidled over to Vincent. "So. I can't help noticing Ami's choice in wardrobe."
Vincent returned the comment with a silent nod.
"Does this mean she knows now? About everything?"
Vincent paused. "I'm not certain, Cloud. But if she doesn't know by now... she's far less intelligent than I gave her credit for."

"Im alright Ami." Kidd walked around to the back and once again faced out of the window. Wow, I really don't have a home. I thought I did but it's just like most things in my life, an illusion. A temporary home... Kidd sat layed right where he stood.

Sin looked at vincent for a moment. He knows something abuot me, although I do know no what. I will ask him later.
Mr. Saint whistled as he walked past the 7th Heaven. He stopped for a moment, wondering why everyone was there. He saw Cloud and waved. "Cloud my son, who are these good people?"

"Customers," Cloud replied as succinctly as possible, hobbling back to the bar. Ami made room for him as he got a glass. "Not often that we get ministers in here, Reverend Saint."
Ami didn't understand Cloud's chilly attitude. A minister? She examined the man. But... there is something a little creepy about him...
Vincent noticed Sin staring at him. He stared back, partly to see how uncomfortable the boy would get. I found records on you, during those six months... and other records that still make my blood curdle.

Sin didn't flinch, holding the gaze. He couldn't seem to shake it off. We look so much alike...
The priest nodded and went to shake their hands. "Don't mind Cloud's attitude towards me. He is a little mad that I am at the Church he was healed in. I have not done anything major, but I have been working on the place. I would love for you to come see it sometime."

Kidd peeked his head up. What the... a minister? Since when is... who... I don't like this guy. Kidd stood up and went to AMi. :Could you get me a soda?" Kidd sat on a barstool and waited trying to hear the conversation.

Ami handed over a can and a glass to Kidd. She gave the minister an odd look, trying to size him up. "Right. I'll be sure and drop in, Reverend."
Cloud merely grunted and got the minister a ginger ale.
Vincent noticed the priest's proffered hand. He merely gazed at it as if he was being offered a dead fish and kept his arms crossed.
Ami leaned over to Cloud and spoke quietly. "We really should get going soon."
He nodded. "Kidd, will you go get Tifa?" His eyes never left Saint.

"Mhm." Why is father so ... unsure of him? Kidd walked up the stairs after drinking his soda and knocked on the door. "Tifa, will you come down? We need to go."

Sin didn't shake the hand either.
He smiled and shrugged when Vincent and Sin didnt shake his hand. He sat down and gave Cloud the money for the drink and sipped at it.

Tifa yelled back at the door. "No! I am not going anywhere!"
Ami overheard from downstairs and winced. "Doesn't sound good, Cloud."
"Just bear with it," Cloud recommended wearily. "If all else fails, there's enough of us to drag her out kicking and screaming. Besides..." He gave Saint a look of thinly veiled impatience. "We can't leave a customer alone in here, anyway."

"Tifa... come with us, there is nothing more we can do to protect this place. We must protect ourselves over anything else."

Tifa didn't sound ready to budge. "This place doesn't need protecting! Cloud is just-- Why am I talking to you, anyway? Cloud should be the one up here defending this decision to me!"
"OK, party time is over," Ami groaned. She made for the stairs.
Cloud stopped her again. "None of that. Let me talk to her. You just... keep an eye on the bar, OK?"
Ami sighed and nodded. Cloud left, making his way slowly up the stairs, giving Saint one more glare on the way.
Ami gave Vincent a wan look. "Want a drink?"
