{Back at the Ship}
Samson layed in his bed, he couldn't stop thinking of his lost love, the thoughts of her killing herself to be with him....
That damn war..... it changed everything......everything we had planned....everything we wanted to do together in our life......growing old together.....that damn war.....Why does fate curse me so....
A small tear rolled off Samsons cheek, a whisper in Samsons mind was heard.
Samson....break free from the wheel of time, turn it back, be there for your loved one.....these people your travel with are dead to you, all that matters is your love for her....
Samson took in his chambers confused, he looked around the room slowly.
Samson: "....Hello....."
Meet me at the Church in Midgar....
Samson jumped off his bed and looked around, he dove for the ground looking under his bed.
hhmmm nothing there.....
He rose himself up scratching his head, then he reached into his jacket pocket and took a swig of rum then looked at the flask, he shook his head and threw it across the room,
Man....I got to cut back on the drinking.....
Just then the door to his chambers slowly opened.
The Church Samson.....The Church.....
.....oh boy...
He left the airship and began to explore Midgar for this Church....

Lutz walked into the bar and noticed this is where everyone was, he waved to everyone as he walked in and sat next to Ami at the bar, he ordered some shots and turned to her.
Lutz: "Ami....Me and Abel can't find Samson anywhere, and to my knowing you were the last person to talk to him, Abel said he was pretty upset about something, what did you guys talk about?"

Ami seemed startled by Lutz's question as she got a couple shots for him. "I... We hardly talked about anything I can remember... I haven't seen him since we left the ship--" She stopped herself. "I saw something was bothering him. I offered to take away his pain." She fingered her hair-- the silver streak had disappeared during her attack on Sephiroth.

Lutz continued taking down shots,
"Ami....something isn't right....during your fight with Sephiroth I couldn't join, Aztar needed to speak with me.....his vision is clouded, blinded, some dark force has gone as far to block the lifestream itself from find out what threatens this planet....there is something pure evil at work here.....and with Samson gone on these streets I feel his life is in danger...."
The wolf being slammed down his last shot and shoot his head,
all this is making me ichy....

Ami put the glasses in the sink. "I'm going to get Cloud. This is serious."
She came up the stairs to meet him coming down. Tifa and the kids were in tow, though Tifa was struggling to break loose. "Let me go, Cloud! I've had enough!"
Cloud ignored her, despite the uncomfortable looks on the kids' faces. "Where did you see your brothers last, Ami?"
Ami shrugged. "When I heard from them last, they told me they were headed for the swamps."
"We'll make a flyover on the way," he announced, herding his adopted family to the door.
"Not yet, Cloud," Ami objected. "Samson is missing. Our captain."

After ensuring all the others were safely back in the ship, Ami brought Lutz and Abel with her to search for Samson, and left Vincent in charge of the passengers. "Lutz, ask Aztar where to find him. Abel, justin case he doesn't feel up to a conversation, you know Samson. Where would he go?"

Lutz nodded and closed his eyes asking Aztar......
Samson....where has he run off to....
The Darkness.....It clouds my vision Lutz....but nothing is more powerful then Love....Samsons heart is crushed....luckly his broken heart left a trail....the Church maybe he has went to ask forgiveness....
Lutz's eyes opened,
"Aztar believes hes in the church asking for forgivness...."
Abel Nodded
"He blames himself for what happened to his wife to be....."
Lutz: "Then its off to the church eh Ami?"

Back in the Infirmary, Ami kept vigil over Samson's mako capsule, where Vincent and Cloud had insisted he stay until they were sure he would not endanger the others. The others had been running tests, but Ami had yet to hear any results.
He had still not woken.
She sighed and ran a hand over her face. Not again...
She had asked Abel to do a flyover of the swamps, to see if her brothers were still there. But Cloud's last report had told her there was no sign of them.
They could be anywhere now.
Samson, come on. Wake up. I don't want you to die on my watch.
When I said I was starting to like you, I meant it.
Please.

Kidd had been watchign the bar and trusted Vincent to keep it as he walked to the ship. Kidd jumped into it acting casual but when he was out of sight of the others ran to the infirmary. "What happened!?!"

"We found him at the church," Ami replied, her voice sounding choked. "Some... thing... was attacking him. It was huge, a black blob... It wrapped him in this cocoon, and we tried to pull him out... it went INSIDE him." Her stomach lurched at the mere memory. "We don't know if it's safe... but we couldn't leave him there."
Vincent was quietly spying from behind the door. You're getting attached again.
Don't do that, Ami. Not to anyone.
Not even me.

Sin eyed him warrily and looked over at them. "Is Samson alright?"

Vincent appeared in the doorway. "She's right, Sin. Come with me." He moved off down the corridor, but paused to glance over his shoulder. "Kidd? Cloud wanted a word with you."

((Backlog, guys, we're all in the ship at this point, doing a flyover in search of Ami's brothers-- since they are nowhere near here, it's a fairly hollow gesture))
Kidd found Cloud outside one of the cabins, where he had just finished settling Tifa and the kids.
"Kidd. There you are." He adjusted his crutch. "Walk with me."
He led the way to the galley, where he grabbed a purp fruit and took a bite. "Sit here, Kidd. Let me have a look at you."
He evaluated the boy. "Kidd, memory problems kind of run in my... that is, our blood. We met before, just once. Do you remember?"

Vincent's conversation with Sin had a similar theme, but had a far different tone. "I'm not a man of many words, so I'll just come directly to the point. I found records of you, while I was peicing together the remains of some fragmented Shinra data. But you were only one of many. You were part of a genetic program called the Elysian Project. The object of the program was to replicate various prominent figures in the AVALANCHE movement, in an attempt to neutralize them. But the project was cancelled some time ago, and its few successful products slated for termination." He gave Sin a piercing look. "How did you survive the order?"
