Amnesty's eyes shot open, and everything seemed to fall into slow motion. She snapped the stalagmite and ripped out of her shoulder with one hand and jammed it dead center into Sephiroth's heart, pounding it with her other fist just to make sure it penetrated.
A crunch and a gushing sound followed. Ami pulled further back against the wall and held her sword cautiously before her, nearly exhausted by the battle and still bleeding profusely. She looked full into her enemy's face, eyes wide and anticipating.
Die... please die...

Thud thud... thud thud...
Time stopped.
The Masamune slipped from Sephiroth's grasp and started to fall to the floor. He toppled slowly backwards...
Just before he hit the ground, the fire that made the constitution of his body grew to a bright white, then exploded with a flash that blinded the room.
A thunderclap echoed through the room, followed by Sephiroth's dark voice.
"This is only the beginning of the nightmare for you all..."
Vieve's body dropped to the floor with a soft pat, the chest wound causing her to spasm wildly, blood gushing.

Ami was almost horrified at what she had done. But then she remembered the pain in Lutz's eyes when Vieve betrayed him... the fear that had gripped Squall when he thought Vi was going to claim her... the repeated attempts to share light with her and the repeated refusals to accept it.
Amnesty's eyes, once filled with pity for the poor soul, now turned cold as life ebbed out of her. "That's what you get for thinking this cave belongs to you." I should be celebrating. But all I feel now is... emptyness.
She started staggering out of the temple, clutching her oozing shoulder. I have to help stop those zealots... then we can use the splicer to obliterate Vieve and Jenova forever...
A thought hit Ami. When I die someday, they'll have to bring me back here to destroy MY cells. She tried to shake it off, but the thought nagged at her. I can never join the Lifestream.

Vieve opened her eyes, pain washing over her like a tsunami. She didn't know where she was. She focused blurry eyes on the figure standing before her. The garbled words and hatred of her sister put fear into her soul.
She tried to call out to Ami as she walked away, but just drawing air into her lungs ached like a bomb. A single coherent thought came into her mind before she passed out-
"...I've done something very, very bad, haven't I?"

One of the remaining wizards of the cult who stood watching as their leader was destroyed started to approach the body lying among the stalagmites. He quickly gauged her life content and came to a conclusion... "She's still alive!"
He conjured a moving spell and levitated her to the capsule, opening it and placing her inside. "Quick, Alejandro, the splicing lever, while there's still time!" One of the Cultists quickly grabbed the lever, and the door to the capule slammed shut as the contraption sizzled and popped to life.
The wizard muttered under his breath... "I pray to Jenova there's still time..."

Ami heard the machine come to life, and although she'd never heard that sound before, she knew it was the most deadly sound she would ever know.
The wizards... HOW IN THE H**L DID I FORGET ABOUT THE WIZARDS?! She attempted to attack the capsule, mowing down zealots as she went, but just as she reached it, Vieve was suddenly gone. Only a hazy, glittering green mist remained inside the capsule-- and inside the stasis tube that had so recently housed Jenova. The voices of the remaining zealots rose in a cry of rejoicing as the mist began to drain from their respective tubes towards the third and final chamber. Thunder rumbled and the planet itself began to tremble in fear, shaking stalactites from the ceiling.
Amid dodged them and managed to get to the Temple entrance just as lightning began to lick from the third chamber, and the indicator light began flashing a belligerent red.
Ami's face became sheet-white. "Have mercy on us..." She lurched into the mine as the zealots all dropped to their knees and began to cry out in an alien language only known by the horror of the planet. She lumbered painfully towards her friends. "EVERYONE OUT OF THE MINE NOW!!!"

Squall hacked the head off another wizard. I shouldnt have let Ami go in there alone... nuts! Panicked Squall picked up the pace, jumping instantly from bad guy to bad guy, slaughtering all who still stood. " EVERYONE OUT OF THE MINE NOW!!!" suddenly echoed through the cave, Ami?! Omg your shoulder!? Squall charged at a wizard in Amis paths and thrust his gunblade clean through him, then pushing him back further caught two more wizards on the end. Wizard Kebab! Yuuuummmy! Squall dragged his gunblade out of their stomachs and took off all their heads in one swift sweep. " You ok?!" Squall grabbed Ami by the arm and started running with her towards the exit, " COME ON GUYS HUSTLE!"

A deep rumble echoed through the mine, the sound of a cavern's death throes... Ami felt like she was about to faint for real this time, stumbling along behind Squall. This war isn't over...
Reno yelped as the mine began to cave. "Holy..."
C**p!" Rude conceded. They weaved their way out of the crumbling caves. Reno stopped to yell back at Nikky and Lutz. "Let's move! This place is gonna blow!"
The gaping hole that showed where the Temple entrance had once been was glowing with a harsh white light that grew in intensity until it was nearly blinding. The cultists, stubbornly refusing to believe their deity was about to doom them all, remained at their posts as the ceiling began to fall...
The entire party made a beeline for the mine exit as boulders tumbled at their heels. Ami got another flash just as they cleared the cave's mouth-- "GET DOWN!"
She threw herself at Squall, knocking him to the ground as an enormous explosion destroyed the adandoned mines.
Ami barely dared raise her head, and when she did, she saw the most repulsive sight she had ever known... in full ceremonial regalia...
Jenova has returned.

Ooof! Squall tumbled to the ground and Ami crashed down on top of him. Thank god your not a big fat guy! Squall lay motionless for a moment, " Everyone ok?!" *cough* " Cure!" Squall held his hand on Amis back and felt the warmth flow into her, should make her a tad more comfortable?... Shes stiff as a board! " You alright?!" Squall questioned sitting up suddenly, her eyes were fixed upon something infront on them, he followed her line of site and stared upon, what some might call, an evil mofo. WTF?!

Amnesty felt the Cure flowing into her, and her shoulder stopped draining blood. She even regained some of ther strength... All that fighting, and for what? It's all over.

Ami's fists clenched. "This is what I came here to do..." She took the Final Blade in hand. "And by G**, I'm going to do it."
Reno and Rude gave her a funny look. "Check this, soapbox..." Reno explained, "this ain't the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man we're looking at here. This is f***king JENOVA!"
"For the love of-- LIKE I WOULDN'T KNOW!"
Jenova rose from the ground in direct defiance of gravity, the sky growing dark and violent behind her. Dark mists gathered around her and materialized into a huge, very impenetrable suit of armor.
"NOW I WILL TAKE MY VENGEANCE ON THIS WORLD..."
Ami looked at her blade. It had suddenly adopted some very odd behavior... It was glowing green, as if infused with the Lifestream itself...
"This is a bad sign, isn't it?" Ami asked herself. She looked into Squall's eyes and placed a hand on his face. "I'll see you on the other side, love."
She stood and raised the blade. "Here goes nothing..."
She sent herself rocketing towards the Calamity.

Lutz squeezed his fist burst it into flames and looks over at Ami.
Lutz: "I am with you this time Ami!"
He knew that beating this Jenova ment, protecting the world and destorying Jenova for good, stopping Shinra and their horrible testing with this Alien. It has come to this.....
I am not scared anymore....I know where the light is now....its with these people.....my friends......

A dark mist forms on the ground infront of him and slowly raiseing from that mist was a demonic figure. Mammon.

Flashes of the past with Rinoa enter his mind. Mammon Grinned
