The figures moved through the trees, drawing closer now. The lone figure walking 100 yards ahead finally reached the hatch of the ship and leaned against the frame, reaching for the opening switch.

Reno felt alarm bells going off in his head. "What the h**l--"
He went to the hatch... Who's out there?
Rude followed him. "What is it?"
He could almost see someone standing there in his mind's eye. "Somebody's out there..." His eyes narrowed. "And I'm not sure what they want..."
Rude looked at the visual display... "Dimitri? Is that you?" Rude moved to open the hatch...
Reno stopped him. "Not so sure that's a good idea, partner..." He seemed to be on full alert. "Something here isn't right." He could sense a lot of pain coming from this person, something he'd never felt from Dimitri before... every second it was like he could feel more of what the Lifestream had to tell him, but it still wasn't enough to show him what this person wanted... He glared at the door. "State your business!" he yelled at it.

Lutz howled and ran towards the hatch flames bursting in flames and ready for anything.

"Guys, let me in. I've been shot." He said shakily.

Ami pushed past them. "I'm letting him in. If the Shinra goons are onto us, then bring them on." She opened the hatch.
Reno tried to stop her. "Ami--"
Too late. She was already dragging Dimitri inside. Reno watched him carefully... he didn't like this at all... "Ami, I think something may be very wrong here..."
Rude yanked the hatch shut, keeping an eye out for anyone or anything that didn't belong.
Ami glanced at Lutz, hoping that Reno was wrong... and that Lutz would have her back if he was right... "Dimitri, where's the wound?" She had one hand on his shoulder... and the other at the hilt of her blade...

Dimitri let himself fall onto a bench and they saw that he'd been shot right through his foot. He also had a wide assortment of cuts and bruises on his face.
"They're outside..." He said.
Suddenly, something slammed into the Ragnorak and the hatch shuddered as the hinges cracked.

Lutz growled stood infront for Ami with his back facing her. He stood watching with Rude being careful and ready.
If Shinra is here get ready to see one pissed off Maloki I hope you remember! well not to pissed off being I don't want Chaos coming back....but still pretty pissed off!

Ami jumped. "Oh, D**N!"
She jumped for the c0ckpit. "Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts, because we're outta here like a bat out of--"
The afterburners drowned out her last words as she set the autopilot for the Northern Crater and the ship lifted off. She sighed with relief as they left Nibelheim behind. She got into the window and gave the village a collective finger. "F**K THIS TOWN!"
She went back out to the passenger area. "I take it things went not so well, eh, Dimitri?" She got out her med kit and got to work.
Reno watched her work and realized Dimitri's wounds were glowing slightly... he concentrated, and the glow intensified. The wounds began to mend... "Holy c**p," he muttered to himself.
Rude blinked, silently sharing the sentiment.
Ami could only sit back and watch. "Dimitri, what happened?"

Dimitri touched his foot where the gunshot wound had been, then looked up at the others.
"It appears Tseng didnt trust me as much as I thought he would... He shot me, then his soldiers jumped me and let me go so I would come back here, but they beat the crap out of me so you guys wouldnt sense them."

Lutz Calmed down and put his flames away. It was safe for now.
I guess Shinra thugs should be the last thing on my mind, the planet is in much more danger...
Lutz: "hey Ami! where we headed now???"

Reno's eyes were glowing green again. The glow faded as the wound closed up... he held his head as if he had a headache. "Yeah, no s**t, Sherlock," he remarked. I should've felt them coming anyway. He headed for the bathroom. "I gotta get some aspirin."
Ami watched him leaving. She turned back to Dimitri. "So now we're basically at square one, except now Tseng knows you're with us... and naturally, so does Rufus." She passed a hand over her face. "How about Xima? What does he know about her? Any chance he'll try to track her down anyway?" Ami asked tiredly, expecting a negative answer. "We're already headed to the Crater... should we turn back?"
Rude listened to Ami's question before following his partner. "Reno, what the h**l was that?"
Reno leaned on the mirror. "I don't know, Rude. I don't know..." He sighed. "That Lifestream c**p is working in me overtime now. It's not because I'm getting better at it... it's because the planet's getting worse. Something out there is wrecking the planet, and I'm linked to it somehow." He looked at himself, sensing the truth. "And if we don't stop it..." He looked down into the sink and let out a deep breath and spoke quietly. "I'm gonna die."
I promised Nikky... I promised. I'm not gonna die... I can't let this beat me.

Dimitri shook his head.
"I didnt tell him about Xima, I told him you werent actually on the ship, so he thinks you and Xima are the same person at this point and I dont think he and Rufus are communicating constantly right now."

Lutz walked passed the bathroom and took a quick glance at Reno and Rude.
Poor Reno....used to be the joker...class clown...now hes done so much growing up in just a few days....their has to be a way of stopping the being in the life stream......but..how it is like trying to stop the lifestream itself the most powerful force on the planet..."
Lutz continued walking to a near by seat and relaxed for he knew he better get some resting in because it will not take long till things turn for the worst again.

Ami sighed. "Well, there's at least one thing in our favor. So he's going out to Wutai to hunt her down?" She prayed the answer was yes... with Reno mysteriously ill like this, and so many others in disrepair, she didn't dare accept any more bad news. We need to stop Rufus from making those clones... without being afraid the abominations are about to interrupt us.

Reno looked up and noticed Lutz watching him. He barged out of the bathroom and right up to the wolf creature. "Don't you tell Nikky," he demanded. "She can't know about this... it'd kill her. Swear you won't say anything. You gotta swear." He stood there, waiting for a promise.
Rude was silently astonished. Not more than a week ago, Reno would be plumbing for pity, accepting his fate... now he was ready to fight like a madman to keep himself alive, and keep anybody else from knowing about it. Rude blinked and dropped his eyes. I really don't believe it. He looked up again. My partner... has finally become a man.
Although, I would have preferred the natural way to an artificial acceleration of his cell division by the Lifestream...
Reno was getting agitated. "Lutz, we've got to beat this. Whatever you know about this thing, you got to tell me."

Lutz still sitting in his chair looked at Rude.
Lutz: "Nikky will not know a thing, but trust me in time she will find out for the man standing infront of her, her love will have aged a few years its only a matter of time."
Lutz got up from his seat and walked closer to Reno and Rude.
Lutz: "This planet is in danger once again, this is big, I just got to know if you all are going to go all the way with us, I trust Ami and Squall they will do their part but will both of you two stand with us till the end???"
Reno....Rude....I feel we will need your help when the time comes....
