kamen searched for what seemed to be hours but it was only a few minutes. he felt a familiar presence and touched it.
hello again my pet.... it seems you have recovered fast.
kamen instantly recoiled and almost fell over. he stumbled and tried to regain himself and start off where he had stopped. he could feel his masters eveil presence now. it dug into him just as he knew it would. he knew he should not have exposed himself like this... but he had to help. he had too.

Ami felt the dark presence touch him and tried to connect with it to buy him more time. Hello again! Ami called to the evil lurking in Kamen's brain. Once again we meet! Her powers were weak, she wasn't sure how long she could sustain this...

Reno felt the persistent itch, but at this point he was so far beyond caring it wasn't even funny. He buried his face in his hands and let the itch build... Maybe if the pain gets bad enough I'll just pass out.

kamen hid himself the best he could as he found nikky.... and someone else. he tried to link with her but found it difficult. he pushed it. nikky.... nikky are you there?? he fought the best he could to stay linked...
the voice laughed. unfortunately so... you are quite persistant girl.... shame you have not the intelligence to learn the first time that you are of no use here...

Useless things make life bearable, Ami lobbed back. Besides, I'm not the only slow learner around here... I wish you would learn to get your creepy bonds off the people I care about. They aren't even all that good... you should have compared notes with Jenova. She might have given you a few good pointers.
Ami stood firm, waiting. All I have to do is distract him long enough for Kamen to find his way back...

kamen heard nikky and panicked. how much time do you think you have??
not long... some freaky chic wants to play a game with me.... but in the end i don't think i can beat her.
this didn't help kamen at all. he panicked. alright. hold on as long as you can... i'll go get help... he disconnected and connected with ami. nikkys in trouble. stop the chit chat and get somebody fast.
the voice laughed and disappeared.

"All right," Ami said aloud. She let go of Kamen's hand and went to Rude. "Nikky's in big trouble... we have to help her NOW."
"You know where she is?"
Ami facepalmed herself. "Oy... be right back."
She returned to Kamen and reconnected. Kamen, where is she?

Reno kept getting flashes in his head as he heard Ami's voice...
Axel being knocked in the face... good. By someone with a very long sword and long silver hair... not so good.
Glowing trees... ruins... the Forgotten City.
His eyes popped open. "The Forgotten City! That's where he hid her!"
He went to Rude and Ami (who let go of Kamen's hand). "We have to get to the Forgotten City, as in pronto!"
Ami blinked. "That's on a whole other continent! And the spaceship is hours from here, even on my bike... how do we get there?"
Reno sagged. "I don't know..."
He felt something in the bottom of his feet tingling... what the h**l... The soles of his shoes were glowing green, and the rest of him soon followed...
Ami pulled back. "What the..."
Reno dissolved into a streak of green that arced out of the village towards heaven knows where...
Ami and Rude were left to stare at each other. "Whoa..." Ami couldn't think of anything else.
"Thank you, Miss Keanu Reeves."
"Huh?"
"Forget it." He's going to be completely on his own for the first time in fifteen years... he'd better be careful.

Ami followed. "Hey, what are you looking so down in the mollygrubs for? You found out Nikky was in trouble and got us alerted, maybe in time to save her. You did good, kid!"
She clapped him on the shoulder encouragingly and smiled at him. This boy is in severe need of a little self-confidence. "You know your problem? You understimate yourself too much. You got so much potential... just believe in yourself! Isn't that right, Rude?"
Rude watched quietly. Ami's getting a bit cliche again. "Believe in yourself..." What is this, a Saturday Morning Special?
He grunted. "Yeah. What she said."
Ami rolled her eyes at Rude's attitude. "Forget Mr. Tall Dark and Silent over there. Trust me on this."

"Hey, you did what you said you were gonna do. You did your best, right?" Ami studied him. "Next time we go up against a baddie... I'll give you a chance to whoop its a**. No better confidence builder than beating the c**p out of somebody." She grinned at him, hoping to elicit some sign of cheer from him. I'm trying so hard to help him that I'm forgetting all my troubles... guess that's an alternative to pot, anyway.
She thought about that. Is that the real reason I help people? To make me feel better?

Lutz still stood up against the wall chained up. he knew little on what was going on or where he really was, he was to busy worrying about not hurting anyone while in Chaos form. He looked up at his hand shackled to the wall, then heard a noise from within his cell.
Mammon...Mammon.....
Lutz looked around his cell now sign of the demon
Great not a Sin....not here....
Just then Mammon appeared to the right side of Lutz.
Mammon: "Aahhh poor Lutz, all chained up because he can't control his temper, how sad....ya know you could get out of here if you really wanted to...."
Lutz: "I know I could just melt these chains and bars, but I know want to I caused enough harm to my friends."
Mammon: "Your friends....haha your friends you say....why are you still in here? huh? if they were your friends they would have found a away to get out with out you breaking out!"
Lutz: "Theyare my friends ok! and I am not breaking out of here either I am going to wait till they need me, but if it was up to me I would rather just have them leave me here, I am to much of a burdon."
Lutz lowered his head.
Mammon: "Yes but you know where you wouldn't be a burdon....with me...with us...."
He rose his head quickly
Lutz: "A 7 Deadly Sin! forget it you are crazy!"
Mammon: "Fool don't push me! all I would have to do is contact Beelzebub the Gluttony you and all your friends would be dead right now! you think your group is close to stopping us you don't even know the power of the rest, the ones you killed are all minor demons just wait till the high ranking demons mess with you! that Sh!t will give you nightmares....forever...."
Lutz: "No Mammon your the fool.....your working outside the life streams rules...you are killing non-sinners and I am going to find the truth to this all!"
Mammon: "Oh Lutz....when will you and your friends realize there is no good and evil....the very thing you believe is good could be the villian behind every plot...."
Mammon rose his hand and snapped his fingers.
Mammon: "So let there be....Darkness...."
all the lights within the town the group was staying out went out even the sun outside lost its touch on the earth, something seemed to be blocking the rays.
Lutz: "Mammon what are you doing???"

Rude grunted. "Great. An eclipse. Just what we needed."
Ami didn't like this at all... she highly doubted any eclipse behaved like this... She sank a silver materia into her arm. Just to be on the safe side...
